Cutecutetown, hello! Last time i told u i have 6 frozen embryo, i was wrong, only 3 left. I did have Fet last wed. I found out that others in the forum has the injection but my dr did not give me , will it affect my rate of success?
Also, up till now, I do not have breast pain, can I conclude that I am failed this time. Dr asked me to have blood test next Monday for b hcg e2& p 4. I am afraid I am failed already.
Dr used the laser hatching tech on my embryos. Hope the chance will be higher, is it so? Thanks.

If you use your own natural cycle for FET, you don't need any injection (as luteal phase support medication).
Why do you need breast pain? It is not a symptom for being pregnant, just like not all pregnant women will vomit or feel nauseated. Do the blood test next Monday as your doc told you; if your period won't come by that time, chance is still present.
Laser hatching, or assisted hatching, allows an easy "exit" for an embryo to get out of its shell and implant into the womb. If your embryo(s) are competent, assisted hatching helps.

I have just confirmed my most recent FET has failed. I have experienced totally 3 fresh ET and 3 FET from 3 IVF cycles. I did bingo once from the FET of the first IVF but it resulted in miscarriage at week 7. I am 41 yrs old. The doctor mentioned the quality of the embryos are good. For the most recent FET, I even took blood thinning injection and steroid. It is probably due to age.
Do you know IVF doctors would usually conduct what further test(s) for the patients who want to continue to try IVF?

Yes, the purpose of using hcg injection or vaginal progesterone is the same. Perhaps if there will be a next cycle, you may ask your doc to try progesterone. Note that hcg injection is once every 3 days for twice, but vaginal progesterone is once or twice a day.
With 由姑娘打鎮靜, you are sedated; so, you are still aware of what's happening around you, but pain level depends on how tolerant you are. Generally speaking, it is not unbearably painful.
I am not sure what your doctor meant regarding the white patch in your uterus. Ask him to explain to you a little more if you get a chance.

Age is still the main factor. It is not very helpful to conduct further test (if there will be any at all) on you because embryo appearance/grading is not a complete picture of embryo quality. From embryology point-of-view, the incidence of aneuploidy (embryo carrying a wrong number of chromosomes) dramatically increases after age 35. By continually trying IVF, we just hope that one time we will transfer a chromosomally-normal embryo which will give you a live birth.
I have been scheduled for egg retrieval this Sat. However, I suddenly have got flu and fever (100 degree) yesterday afternoon. I am supposed to take antibiotic (抭生素) starting from today. I'm afraid the medicine for flu and fever will negatively affect the egg quality. So until now I dare not to take the flu and fever medicine. Could you please advise me whether fever and those medicine would have a negative impact on egg quality?

Hello Cutecutetown, my first baby (bingo by ivf) is just 2 month old now...since I'm not young anymore, I really hope to have a second child before 40. I still have frozen embryo left. Do you know when is the soonest time that I can have an FET? I am half breastfeeding now and my period hasn't come yet. Do I need to wait for my period to come first?

It's a good idea to call your clinic where your frozen embryos are kept. It is easiest for the nurse(s) there to advise you what to do so that you may book (if needed) your FET as soon as possible. You probably need to stop breast-feeding in order to prepare for FET.

Today urine test shows positive! Yeah, really thanks for your help and encouragement. I still need to have blood test. Now I M facing another problem, as I said, my fet was done in Taiwan and I am running out the progesterone virginal gel, I saw a general dr but he did not know where to buy. I only got 2 left. Please advise.
In most pregnant cases, the doctor stops prescribing vaginal gel once there is a positive result from urine test. However, you should first check with your doctor in Taiwan to see if he wants you to continue with the gel or not. If he can assure you that you won't need any, then you will be fine. If he wants you to continue the gel, see what he can do (e.g. write a prescription or contact a local reproductive specialist). My understanding is that there is no such product available even on prescription.
Don't worry, you should be fine even without the gel.

I am going to go to Queen Mary hospital for 噴鼻藥 nexy monday. nurse said over the phone when i asked her when should i start the nasal spray, she replied that it should be on day 21. in my case, dat 21 is 7 June. I would like to ask, normally when dr collects my eggs? on which day in the cycle?
Moreover, i told nurse my cycle us messy and irregular. she then saud she will check with doctor if i need to take 通經丸。why do i need it and what is that for actually?

I am 37 years old and I had done my first IVF in July 2011. 11 eggs were extracted. Only 8 eggs left on Day 3 (one grade 2 & seven grade 2-) and 5 left on Day 5. Doctor did a Day 5 transfer for 2 embryos. It wasn't successful. I now have 3 frozen embryos and am thinking of doing a natural FET next month.
As I didn't have a good experience with my last doctor, I have now changed to a new one and showed him yesterday the report (with photos) of my frozen embryos. He commented that the embryos, although are Day 5, actually just look like Day 4 and the grading is not good. He suggested me to put aside these embryos first since there are not growing at the right speed and start a new cycle. I really hesitate and would like to seek you advice :
1. I did ask my last doctor the grading of my Day 5 embryos and he said once it reaches Day 5, it will not be graded anymore. I was not being told that my frozen embryos is one day slower. How can I confirm that it is really not up to Day 5 standard ?
2. If there are really not up to standard, would u suggest a transfer ? I had 2 natural pregnancy before and both were miscarried at around week 6. The embryos didn't grow.
