You can make the rice cereal thicker, gradually add some baby food or blended puree (says squash, spinach, carrot, peas, etc.) to it. If your baby is okay to it, start making congee (soak the rice with water overnight, add the rice after the water boiled, turn the fire to medium, once it becomes thicker in texture, turn to low heat, cover it for a while after it's done, it usually take less than 30 mins if you soak the rice before).
