got a few friends who send their kids to rightmind. u should go for a school tour to see if you like it la.

really? are the kids fluent in english n mandarin?

i won't consider the kinder in my area la.
may consider kln tong, but too competitive. last sat was the interview of st cath., wow, sooooooo many ppl in the streets. momo is small b. quite difficult to compete w/ big b ar! don't want his mom, ie me to lose hope! :)

i guess xogogo means she saw the queue when she took momo to TT. St Cat doesn't ve N1 class. St. Cat and KV were both having interview last Sat (i knew some fds' got the interview at St. Cat last fri)

yes, i saw the long quene and cars on the road last sat. my frd's son did hv the interview too.

i prefer momo to be small b. cuz' i'm a big b b4. i was born in dec too. many of my classmates also said i was "older" than them. in primary, big b and small b do hv a big difference, but once they enter secondary, well, no more difference.

did i tell u gals that i'm a teacher? i did check their birthdays to see if big b do better and small b are a bit slow. well, not exactly. some smart kids are small b and big b are average.

i hv quitted mygym.

cuz' on monday, i asked my maid to wait for me in the centre and then i joined them and went home together.
my maid told me that she needed to feed momo milk in the centre. i said ok. 20 minutes later, i called my maid. she couldn't hear the phone (probably she turned to silent mode). i called for a few times. still nobody answered. so i called the centre and asked them wether my maid n' bb were still there. they told me they hv gone. i was soooo worried.:-( cuz' i didn't know where they were. 10 minutes later, my maid called me. they were still in the centre!!! i was so frustrated. i called the centre and asked about my bb. they didn't even help me to check

. the receptionist told me that there were a lot of bb n' helpers so she couldn't see them.
i think they r irresponsible so i asked for refund.
i dunno why i always hv these kinds of bad experience. maybe from my previous experience, i think schools whose students are mainly infants or young children should actually do better than this!!

i joined kinderU mandarin class. it was good. so i may consider to quit TT. cuz' momo starts losing interest in TT.

u have started the program in kinderu? is it part of rightmind program? pls share the content with us...

XOGOGO - so sorry to hear that. if i were u, i'd be worry sick as well.

have u tried my musikbox? people there are v caring & the course i like v much as well. but u have to try the cwb center lor.

i tried kinderu, found it a little bit commercial. will do a trial class at beaumont this sat, will let u know what it's like.

finally we can meet!

yesterday, i got another bad experience. i met a consultant from montessori (hurray english n story boom boom). after i talked w/ her about my son likes tearing the books, putting things into his mouth and sometimes standing on the chair. she commented my son got "EMOTIONAL" problem!!

at first, i didn't say anything cuz' i know my son is not perfect of course. but she kept saying that my son got "EMOTIIONAL" problem, then i argued w/ her that since my son started attending pg when he was 6 months old. NO teachers said he got any problems. they all said he is calm, easy to teach. then she said calm is different from "stupid" n' "slow response"!!! i was pissed off!!

i don't think she should make any judgements like this!! i will complaint to her boss this morning.
so angry!!!!!!!

sorry to hear your bad experience in my gym. i would be terribly afraid if i were u. u want to hk side's centre or kowloon's?

i think it's gd that momo likes the class in kinder u. u can then try to find out if the right mind training suits momo and then consider whether to put momo in right mind kindergarten :)

btw, i don;t think the company selling hurray english is montessori related. :p

btw, we tried littxx gym in TST last sun. quite disappointed. loosely organized. the 45 mins session: w/ around 15 mins session of warm up activities and songs. then free play for around 25 mins and the last 5 mins: cool down(?) + bye bye song. n the class size is too big, around 20 kids w/ 2 instructors only. most importantly, no one taught u how to do the task/action w/ the kids or anything needed to pay attention to. re. equipments installed in the centre, only 1-2 items are suitable for a particular age range of kids. others would either be too easy or too difficult.

i know hurray english is not related to mont. but i want to have some materials to read w/ momo. apart from the poor attitude of the consultant, Hurray English is really interesting. i bought ET but i don't think it is suitable for bb.

the lesson in kinderU is really good. the teacher did some flash cards but not throughout the lessons. maybe due to the class size is small so the teacher can care more about each bb. i have enrolled 1 day / week.

i went to mygyx in central. maybe ppl there will put momo on the bad list.
