There are some banks/exchange offices after luggage reclaim
in Dubai Airport. The banknote exchange rate I got there was USD 100 = AED 360.
I changed some there first because I needed to pay for taxi charges and hotel bell boy services.
I also noted that there are banks/exchange offices in several big
shopping malls like Deira City Cenre and Dubai Mall.
The exchange rates quoted there seemed a bit better at around
USD 100 = AED 365.
1. Don't know why this time always got long queues in the Arrival Hall of Dubai Airport.
I need to spend more than 60 minutes to wait for the immigration check procedures.
Can consider to bring something like small portable folded chair for the elderies.
2. If you plan to take Dubai Metro Train to Dubai Mall, you need to walk along
a very very long corridor from the train station to the shopping mall
(although it is covered and air conditioned, it'll take about at least 10-15 minutes
walking time). Can consider to go there directly by taxi.
3. Road traffic in peak hours can be very congested (especially if you'll like to
cross the bridge or tunnel) to travel across the Dubai Creek.
