你好！我個BB而家兩個月兩星期大, 佢6月4日打完五合一及肺炎鏈球菌針及輪狀病毒口服液, 6月5日及6日都發燒, 食左醫生開的退燒水後, 6月7日已經退左燒.

但6月12日突然又再發燒, 係咪應該唔關打針事? 咁細過BB有咩原因會發燒？我比左退燒水佢飲就退左. 唔知是否應該帶佢睇醫生?

相距一星期, 應該唔關打針or口服疫苗事.

Urgently for your advice:

My daughter is about 7yrs & 7mths. She is now suffering from suspected IGA glomerulonephritis. She's been in brown/bloody urine for over 10 days but with no pain. No virus was found in two urine reports. After taking CT scanning and urine test, dysmorphic RBC was found (43). She's been detailed in hospital for 2 days but now discharged. Doctor said her functionality of kidney was still OK (from blood test report) and no obvious facial puffiness. Not going to do invasive kidney checking. Steroid may need to be prescribed if condition is worse. However, she's still suffering from bloody urine (4 times in every 10 times of urine). She has an appointment next Friday for report result (immune system??)

May I know:
a) Can my daughter recover from this illness? When she can recover?
b) How to handle this case?
c) Can any medicine help?
d) When the bloody/brown urine can stop?
e) How about the functionality of the kidney? Is it a life-term illness?
f) Shall I just wait for the next appointment even she's still suffering from blooding urine everyday?

My daughter is very frightened and I feel very worried. For your urgent advice.

Observe with serial tests (blood and urine), +/- renal biopsy for confirmation. Steroid may be needed. Low salt diet +/- fluid restrition.

Steroid, Cozaar, Omega-3.
d) When the bloody/brown urine can stop?
When recovered.
e) How about the functionality of the kidney? Is it a life-term illness?
For IgA, yes.
f) Shall I just wait for the next appointment even she's still suffering from blooding urine everyday?
Go to your family dr for more support and understanding.

Dear Dr Yonex:

How can I know if she's suffering from IGA GN but minial change GN??? What's the difference? The hospital discharge form stated ' IGA glomerulonephritis (suspected).

Can fish oil help??

Sorry for bothering you again. I feel very worried.
(1)醫生目前還未安排抽腎片，但女兒還在屙血尿（差不多2星期了），難到讓她每天都這樣嗎？
（2）女兒上星期4抽血驗腎功能（已知還是OK）和驗什麼免疫系統，現在還未有report, 通常要多久才知結果？有什麼用呢？
（3）我覺得女兒好像在輕微活動（玩，坐車或just a walk)後，屙血尿/啡尿的情況多些，在較靜止的情況下（e.g.坐下，睡覺後），肉眼看的尿像清一點，為何這樣呢？

我女由三月初中耳炎後, 情況經常反覆(原因係佢鼻經常塞), 今日醫生話又有積水, 暫時無發燒, 表面看不到什麼, 醫生開了些消腫藥,抗過敏藥, 滴鼻同滴耳藥, 希望情況會好轉, 但如果持續唔好可能會影響佢聽力及對學習造成影響, 建議在耳內插管, 整穿耳膜減壓, 醫生話只是小手術, 我好擔心, 唔知應否比女兒接受手術, 又唔知做左手術後會唔會再發, 係未每間醫院都有?

Pls help to advise.....

In this week, after my 2yrs10mths bb "Ng Ng", we clean her pet pet and we find some "pink colour" on the tissue, we guess it should be "Blood". We also find her Ng Ng is Black and Hard, so we give her to drink more apple juice, orange juice, Chinese soups, even prune, yogurt......in order to let her ng ng get softer.
I checked her pet pet and find a wound near the pet pet hole, I put some "Ultraprotn Cream" on her wound.

However, such situation is still lasting, today, the tissue is found "red colour" tim!!!

What happen? Should I bring her to consult doctor??

BB現在兩個多月大, 發現頸位有小孔, 並有分秘物流出, E生話小孔係屢管仲連接住喉嚨, 位置接近大動脈, 好容易會感染細菌發炎, 之前已經試過發炎, 食左消炎藥後都ok, 其實已經睇左幾個兒科及外科E生, 話最好做手術切除屢管, 其中一個E生就話可觀察一下, 嚴重先做手術, 但外科E生就話遲做早做唔會有太大分別, 始終BB而家仲好細, 而且手術有一定風險, 所以好矛盾 , 大個D先做手術危險性會減低嗎? 除左做手術, 仲有冇其他治療方法? 同埋想問吓, 呢種手術, 失敗的機會率有幾大? Thank you for your advice!
