議案對你冇影響，因為你已經系PR。當它正式立法後，那些才成為PR的才會受影響。大概會在7月, 完成了所有立法程序後才正式生效。

我係讀男女校既 (from kindergarden --> primary --> college).

As KK said, 其實無論係男女校/全女校, 都好難阻止到d小朋友拍拖.如果佢地要拍拖, 唔一定要在校內識男仔, 佢地一樣可以通過朋友在校外識到男仔.

One of my friend from NZ, she studied at a girl's college, but she got alot of bfs too!!

其實你唔係一早揀好左glen waverley啦咩,做咩又咁煩?因為親戚say no,所以你要由頭唸過??當初我未決定移民就已經著手搵資料,由咩都唔識到將範圍縮細,最後2選一,都係自己一手一腳同埋狂去那些澳洲教育展取料.
我個女同你女一樣,佢嚴d女仔好煩好多是非,但佢唔明白同男仔玩,男仔唔會當佢係男仔,佢的的確確係女仔look ma,仲要已經有波睇,佢都唔識避忌.我太了解個女性格,佢絕對唔會變tom boy,如果男女校佢一定好早拍拖,即使拍拖都未必係問題,人總要經過呢個階段,問題係我個女好任性,佢喜歡就唔理後果去做左先算(hehe...似我),而且一定唔聽我地勸個隻,咁就好易出事啦,係hk佢跟人出走都易搵佢,如果佢係澳洲出走就真係唔識搵佢.我既case係好個人,唔需要受人影響,要明白你女係咩性格去揀囉.其實男女校係均衡好多既,如果那個小朋友識唸的話,但我知我個女唔會,為左綁多佢幾年,(即使佢從其他媒介識男仔,起碼唔會日日見,至少我可以監管唔比佢同男仔出街),等佢專心d讀書,我只會堅持女校.(而且真係單性的中學成績係高d)我自己又係讀女校,所以更加buy 女校囉.

昨晚諗清楚，我其實唔可以咁肯定話你冇問題，因為我唔知你個visa既status，有冇任何附帶條件，例如要你land左才當你系正式PR身份etc。不如你打電話去Australian Consulate 問清楚，好過估估下又擔心。

唔好意思，我唔清楚你個情況，例如grant左visa未，所以唔知對你有咩影響。 7月祇是他們預計的日期。　佢地可以fast track立法，又可以慢慢黎。　

後加: 唔會考英文，唔洗擔心。　不過個試就要用英文作答。

剛才上citizenship個website先知舊年12月pass左個citizenship test proposal (因為番左HK，所以miss左這個news)。正式立法先算啦。 Anyway, 而家做citizen都要attend interview (to assess whether you understand the nature of the application; to assess whether you have an adequate knowledge of the responsibilities and privileges of Australian citizenship; to assess whether you have a basic knowledge of the English language)。將來亦會有material比你讀左先考試。 In the website, they also said that "it is not planned to have a separate English language test, instead people’s English language skills would be measured by their ability to pass a test on knowledge of Australia administered in English." To some people, they may be more confident in taking a written test in English than to attend an interview in English.

唔好咁擔心啦。

我又比個真實個案你丫。我系Brissie個friend, 佢個女15歲就同個男同學拍拖。　我去親探我個friend都見到個男仔。　舊年year 12考試，兩個個 OP (overall position) 都考到7分, which is pretty good （１分系最高, 25分系最低)。佢地有D失望，諗住可以考到5分。　Anyway, 佢兩個都考到入QUT, 男的讀 Architecture, 女的讀 Accounting。　唔錯呀。

如果在立法前已grant PR visa, 而又在法例生效3年內apply citizenship, 就唔使住4年.

個web話預8月,不過正如Delvin媽話,可快可慢.
個PR visa 應該係由grant比妳果日已生效,只不過妳唔如期去land就會失效,所以我諗妳應該唔受影響，不過妳最都係問下Consulate穩陣d.

For the current procedure, once you have fulfilled the residence requirement, you can fill in the application form, pay the appropriate fee and lodge it on line, in person or by mail. They will then arrange for you to attend the interview. You will receive a written notification afterwards (it says around 90 per cent of applications are decided within 90 days of lodgement.)

One piece of interesting information:

Most people are required to make the Pledge of Commitment as the final step in becoming an Australian citizen.

Once your application has been approved, arrangements will be made for you to attend a citizenship ceremony at which you can make the Pledge.

Once you have made the Pledge before a person delegated by the Minister you will be an Australian citizen and you will be given a Citizenship Certificate.

Ceremonies
Most ceremonies are arranged by local government councils. It can take a few months from the date of approval until you are invited to attend a citizenship ceremony. You will receive details about your citizenship ceremony well in advance so that you can invite relatives and friends if you wish.

If you have special needs or concerns about the ceremony, please let the department know as soon as possible. You can notify the department either at your interview or by calling the Citizenship Information Line.

Attendance requirements
