application procedure---urgent

Mrs. Rose,
my agent told me they sent my form to immigration on 17 aug 2007, now the vca no. came out already ,(on 24 aug 2007)
some sudden thing happened in my family, i need the bun bun in urgent to take care my 15 mths
old baby, i made 2 phone calls to immigration dept to request them to proceed the request faster
and my agent helped me to sent the urgent letter twice( as my agent told me),
hwr, in the phone, the immigration officer still told me the process need to take 2 to 3 weeks until
the visa can be issued. is that true ? it seems that the urgency letter and my phone calls are useless.
can i hv other ways to request the immigration dept. to speed up the process?
after the visa no. is issued, can i request the agent on which day the maid is to be arrived in HK,
or is it the agent who will decide the arrival date? normally, how long does it take after the visa is issued?

Dear MrsRose,

我的朋友因經濟問題, 工人只做了一年便需辭退她, 而我剛剛需要請工人, 朋友想介紹給我。

請問工人是否一定要透過她自己 agent 辦手續轉新僱主 (passport 係工人度)? 及費用大約多少錢?

印印放假，唔聽電話

Mrs Rose,

本人放假給新工人 (做了兩個星期) ，由12:00am - 11:30pm 才回家，我由7:00pm開始打比佢, 打到11點幾，只接了3-4個。但佢一個電話都無打過比我，當中仲有很多大話‧

回來後，我質問佢，佢又支吾其詞，又話唔識返屋企，又話電話無電，我唔知佢過D做咩。

請問我應該點做?　我可唔可以即時抄佢？

係Bun Bun就可以自己攪。印印就要用Agent，不過轉其它Agent做都得，收費約1500-3000不等。

你當然可以即時抄佢，不過要賠錢。出警告信俾佢，另講明假期最遲幾點要返，再犯先炒啦。

首先你唔想俾佢可自己交去領事館，星期日都開架你都可以攞番份contract唔駛工人去。入合約係要僱主ID copy既。

You should go personally to the Immigration and speak to the Officer directly. That will really help to speed up the process even faster. Remember to quote to the office your VCA number.

After the visa is issued, the agent should call their Philippines agent to make the earlist flight arrangement and concurrently courier the original visa to them. The arrival date will depends on the airline seat availibility. If all other process are already done in the Philippines side and seats are available, it can be within 2-3 days upon receiving your visa in Philippines.

You can also call the agent now to ask them if the maid had already done all the Philippines process and ask them to get her prepared to come to HK asap.

我o既bun姐o既老公啱啱o係今朝過o左身, 佢而家好傷心, 仲考慮緊返唔返去奔喪同settle down d 仔女, 我同我老公都想佢返去一轉, 等佢了o左件心事之後, 返o黎hk好好工作.

如果個工人要返菲律賓1至2周, 並承諾會返hk繼續同我打工, 我o係佢臨走前, 有乜野文件要佢簽同俾入境處? 可否email sample 俾我? 我會pm 個email address俾你. 唔該晒

Tks for your advice, my husband (he is the employer on the contract) went to the immigration office directly yesterday told them the situation and requested them to speed up the visa process. Hwr, the officer's response was very impolite and still told my husband to wait for 2-3 weeks ar. Is that really work?

After the visa is issued, do u mean i need to bring the visa to the agent and they will courier the visa to their philippine agent?

I will request the agent to ask their philippine side to get the maid everything ready first.

My existing Indo maid is going to leave soon. She resigned as her own accord.

I asked her to cut her hair during the summer. She rejected. She always told lies. She had not repaid the payment to agency in the 2nd month employment and we were chased and threatened by the finance company. She did somethings wrong, I scolded her. She showed "Inch". She came to HK is to enjoy the living standard and meet her friends, not earning money. Generally, her working attitude is very poor. She said that she will continue to find a job in HK and is confident to find the job successfully.

I don't want another employer to be another sufferer. What can I do?

ANS:{Their standard answer is expected, this is "打官康", just waiting for their call, very soon they will call you for vissa released. And besides sending letter this is the only way/thing you can done.}

ANS:{Usually agent will pick the visa for you and they will send to Philippines agent by courier}

I will request the agent to ask their philippine side to get the maid everything ready first.

ANS:{Yes, must pushing the agent and tell them Immigration will released the visa very soon, asked the maid to stand by and ready for medical & money & documents...}

If you want to give her a reference letter, you can state your contact number for her propective employer to call you. Then is up to your to tell the truth to the prospective employer or not. Other then that, let bygones be bygones.

請問傱海外聘請bun bun, 大概兩個月取得簽証後,我是不是要立即讓她過來, 還是可以有一個限期, 安排她在適當的時候才過來. 如有限期的話, 是多久?

i called the agent, she told me that the bun bun started the training fm mid-aug and it need to take a month training and only after the visa is issued, she can take the exam. It is for 3 days, is that true?

she also asked me to get ready $2400外傭稅 and she will help me to submit to immigration, is that true also?

有下列問題，煩請解答，謝謝！
舊工人於7月中完約，去左新僱主上工。我新工人唔得，要換左佢！甘啱舊工人打電話比我話在新僱主做得唔開心，想返黎做！如果我炒而家個工人，請返舊工人。
1. 我係唔係可即炒工人，補一個月人工+返印尼機票？
2. 舊工人一個月通知新僱主，可走？佢要唔要返印尼先可以到我家工作?
3. 有セ手續要做？需要約幾多錢 (舊工人和我)？
4. 已交外傭稅可否帶比其他工人？
