Adventist's environment is quite good and not too crowded... the baby room is quite big gar... as long as u feel comfortable and relaxing will be enough lar...

Actually i didn't compare the price of the bag in HK & USA, i ordered from USA as i can't find the 2.55 reissue in HK and Threetoone taught me to order from USA... the 2.55 reissue 225 size is US$2045 + US$50 shipping fee... the 2.55 reissue 227 size is US$2375... they will only charge US$50 shipping fee no matter how many bags u ordered...of course have to ship all in 1 shipment la... if u want to order from USA, u can ask Threetoone for details as it is better for her to introduce the SA to u la! hee hee...

NO wor... my Dr. is a male, Dr. So... anyway, wish u & your baby the best!

I tried M6 long time before i was pregnant, after i gave birth, i had to go on diet & eat less to lose weight... just doing M6 won't be enough for me, also no time to go la... i bet u are always a thin & fit woman, so u won't have to worry getting fat after give birth la! :wink:

I gave brith to my 1st child at Adventist... and when the total bill came out, I almost passed out:-( :-( :-(
but you'll love it!!!! they're more western style!

you know, most Dr. don't like Matildx.... because of their mis- management wor!

also, as to breastfeeding... there's a lot of misleading info... don't believe you don't have enough milk ar... everyone has enough .... and a new born only takes 5-10ml a day. try.. if you want to.. if you have any questions regarding BF, you can PM me ar... I BF both my child untill 10 mons.. exclusively on mama milk ga!!!!
and I lost all the weight in 2 months because I BF!!!

when are you getting you new bags from US ar?
how come it takes so long? I once read ( is that you? threetoone?) that your SA charged long time ago, but still hasn't shipped out?? I don't think like that!!!!!

Coz I have expandable tote, so I ordered a black rock and chain flap.

I saw Amanda S. carry the expandable flap in beige. Very nice ah!

Sure will show you the bag! I was thinking to order the bag you have ordered also, but now will wait for things from next season since I will have the expandable flap and the Chloe for the Summer.

I was charged on the 3rd! But ok la...although I wanted to use the bag earlier. Because of the delay, no shipping fee and free cosmetics for me.

I didn't know Matilda had bad management ar, so far my experience at Matilda was very good, the food is good too... but i guess if i will have 2nd baby, i won't go to Matilda as too far for my parents and others to visit me la... anyway, 2nd baby thought is still very remote ....

my doctor is a male ar... Dr. So at Central... hee!

U can ask for a Cantonese 助產士 to help u... other than that, u don't have to worry about speaking English as they have many HK people working at Adventist... last time i visited my friend, the nurses are HK people...

Just disappeared for a while, there're so many pages!!! Very hardworking ladies!!!

After the "important" meeting today, I feel a GREAT relief! I can be mentally free for quite sometime la!!!

Okay, so my presumption is totally correct, all are you are "super" rich, not only "very" rich!!! So nice to meet you all here, ha..ha....

I had no experience in delivery in any of the private hospitals. So, I could not comment which one is good, which one is not so good. Both of my delivery were taken place in public one. Though I was luckily staying in the private ward during the whole hospitalization with "unexpected" superb services, the offers should be totally different from your "paradise" hosptials. However, my cases were totally different, both of my deliveries were not that smooth, so, I'm sure my choices were correct. Because all the specialties were in-house with quick and expert "care", rather than calling some experts from somewhere else.

Don't really worry too much about communication with the midwives. They are there to serve you, so they will try to understand you anyway even if they are Caucasians. And as what fatping1 said, asked for a Cantonese speaking midwife in case if necessary. So, there shouldn't be any problem.

You're right! After that, I really have to take a break for my "brain" as well. I need shopping. But I am still in the process of "slimming", a few more pounds to go. I want to wait for some more time before buying the new clothes wor. Initially I planned to drive to IFC today, but I changed my plan to pick up my daughter from her school. ha.ha...

Your choice is absolutely right.. Private hosp doesn't have enough resources like Public's so.. If I were you, I would do the same ar..
My friend gave birth at Adventist couple months ago.. and the BB had some kinda complication on the 1st day... BB turned purple as he didn't breath correctly.. the nurses at Adventist even got panic... Fianlly, the BB was send to Mary Hosp immediately..... he is now Okay.

Oh ,my Dr is Dr. Chow at Central ( oopps! forgot the name.....the building next to landmark)
you know when I got pregnant the 1st time.. I had just arrived in HK for 2 months.. so I didn't know any Dr...
In order to find myself a good Dr.. I had visited almst 15 Drs... and finally I picked Dr. Chow.. she's really Westernize.. No BS... no fake face.. I love it.
but she's really costly ar..... like I said, my final bill at the hospital, including Dr's fee was almost $150!!!!!!!
Yes, I stay at the private room... but at that time, i didn't understand all the charges goes up along with the room type!!!!
so when I had my 2 nd one.. I stayed in the 4-person 's room... thinking I could save a lot... but you know, my son arrived on Saturday.. so there's extra " emergency cost" for C-section...
anyway, I'm not having anymore kids la... the $$$ just scares me!!!!!!

Yeah... I've been going to bed early recently.. because the weather is so nice recently and I'm swiming in the morning ar.

but I still enjoy going on line during the night.. so I don't have my kids scream outside my room, and keep knocking on my door ar!!!!
