今日係出卷deadline.. 本身出好左, 但臨時想加07AL題目
上星期我病到cc下,都整唔到..

we all feel very very angry. the school proposes we will finish school at 4:45pm next year. and we then should have after remedial lessons afterwards.

when can I do the marking and prepare for my lessons?

HI, everybody!

I'm new here. Does anyone have any comment on half-time job? That is, I'll receive only half of the salary I have and the school will arrange half of the number of lessons I have for me. I don't know whether I can leave school earlier or not.

All my fds say it won't be good as other duties than teaching will usually not reduced. :-x

What do you all think? Pls give me some advice

in fact, as i opine, it's not bad to be a half-time teacher, especially for those who have children. Take care of the kids is much more important than anything (we are teachers, we do know what's so called "education").

if there isn't a financial burden, take a half is good.

Long time no see. Hope some of you still remember me. Yes, I quitted my job already, on 1 Jan 07. Now four months passed, I think I have done the right decision.

I own my life and live according to my mission. My business is growing steadily, but most important, I feel confident , healthy and happy that I could not feel when I was teaching.

I am still working hard on my bb making plan. Now I am very relaxed. I take lessons on nutrition, beauty , skin care and I share with people gd things in life.

I really hope that more people dare to dream and go for their dreams .

You know, jobs in private sector are more insecure and my hsb works in the private sector. :cry: :cry:

半職真係睇學校。。。。

我有朋友半職係番兩日半，但一樣要開大會，細會通常會就佢時間。佢番兩個FULL DAY加一個下午，唔使早會唔使週會。

但我知，出面多數學校都唔係咁做！

The half-teacher in my school needs to attend school half day EVERY DAY. He can leave school at 1pm. But, as far as I notice, he has to stay at school almost every day to do his marking

hi all,

i am new in this topic. but i want to share with you about my experience.
7years ago, i changed to be a 0.5 teacher. i have 15 periods out of 20 per week. i can leave school at 11:10am. many friends admire me a lot. i am also satisfied with my situation. though sometimes i need to stay behind for the principle's meeting or panel meeting, but most of the time, i can go back home for lunch. and i need not take up the ECA and no need to be a form-teacher.
fo have such a good offer, i always thank my God.

Are you still a 0.5 teacher? I have some worry about how long the school can allow me to have this option, (since it may really cause some inconvenience in the management)

其實我覺得 0.5 post 長遠並非好事, 但可以考慮照顧小朋友為理由, 番上午半日都係好, 佢番學時你番工, 佢放學時你已經係屋企睇到佢。

二來, 一到學校真係要cut人走時, 好可能第一個就會cut份半職, 話哂半職並非常額, 所以要小心。

I think whether you have to stay behind after lessons depends greatly on which subject you are teaching. If you teach language subjects, the marking load is really heavy and that's why my colleagues can't leave school right away.

The prinicpal told him there will be redundancy of teaching staff next year. If he wants to stay in our school, he can only get half of the salary of a TA, which is several thousands only.

I think it is really unfair to him. But the principal said he is not a regular teacher and the school can only use the CEG grant to pay him. So my colleague has no say on this issue.

he plans to quit actually because of the low salary. He thinks it is a bit insulting.
