Thanks for Nilliema and Lorry. Well, actually, I didn't celebrate the birthday with my daughter yet. But will do this saturday.
Jovababy, How's vivi now? Is she getting better now? My daughter, also having a high fever suddenly few weeks ago, and there's no other sythoms, she's still very active, can eat. I realised she's got fever was when I back to her bedroom after she slept, I felt she's quite hot and taking temperature with her, then realised. This was the second times. Of course, I did bring her to see the doctor la, and doctor said it was 過濾性病毒, and when her temperature back to normal, she cough badly.
Take care u, u should be very tired.
Oh, well, I forgot to tell everyone, my daughter's name is Valaree.
Good to hear that vivi getting better lar, really upset when our kids get sick.
Is Valaree a really good name? Well, I found difficult to think of her English name a year ago and this name was given by one of my Australia's friend. The meaning is strong and healthy.
I heard from the news, and I saw on TV.. it said that 2 persons dead deal to the black rain alarm..?
moms in hk..
please take care and don't catch a cold, when you get in and out from air-cond indoor to outdoor!
jovababy,
glad that your mom and VV recovered.. ^o^
Yes, the black rainstorm came so sudden past weekend, I woke up at 7 am to prepare for my older son's swimming lesson then realize the rainstorm is on. Then my younger son's English lesson called off and at 1115 am changed to Red rainstorm. I have to check if my Child EQ course will cancel in the afternoon and also the class that I taught will cancel too, end up no class at all.
It's sad and cruel that the nearly divorced couple stuck in the house to have discussion but end up couldn't leave due to the bad weather. The landslide buried the couple and they couldn't separate anymore. Also the no electricity, water and telecommunication in Tai O also made people felt a bit of the Sze Chuen victim.

The hot and humid weather in HK made people so uncomfortable.....
My older son's final exam has started from last week and will finish by tomorrow, both he and I are fully exhausted.
Parents applied leave and gathered in his school to accompany the kids during the assembly and recess, some even stayed till the exam finished. Bodyguards and drivers are stand-by mode as well.
Thunderstorm warning occurred daily and my younger son's kinder will have an outing to Stanley tomorrow for the parent-child beach acivity, to follow the Green Life topic this month. Finger cross on this.
Ooo my my.. Chelsea,
Nowadays, the school in hk .. just as busy as in US.. like Amanda.. broadwalk+beach time at Thursday morning with all teachers and voluntees and parents evening with Gym class, Monday& wednesday for Ballet class, Tuesday and Friday for Music training, Saturday for Piano class, every 1-2 weeks, also have a yellow bus (school bus ride) ride, to bring all 4 years-5 years old kids to Manhattan or university or museum. People from outside will come to school to perform all different kinds of thing.. story time, crown with all balloons, very very busy..
When Amanda was 3-4 years old, School required all parents attend every activities, and now, she is over 4years old, so she can go with teacher alone.. so cool! I don't need to take off now..
here in New york, many elderly dead deal to the heat stroke and hot weather.. what a pity..

The heavy rainfall this morning really scares us, if cancel of exam will mean another weekend torture. The beach activity has been cancelled and a bit disappointed to the younger son.
