Hi all,

Please be announced that my son was borned on Apr 17 (Apr BB again). He was at his 31st week and he only weight 0.96kg (2 lb).

I went to the regular check at the hospital on Mar 31 and found that there is pressure on the 臍帶 and the baby's weight stopped growing since his 28th weeks. This may because the function of 胎盤 is not working properly. The risk are (1) if the pressure is high, the oxygen & nutrition will stop transferring to him, he may then xxx. (2) if we take him out immediately, his lungs are not ready yet. So, we agreed to take him out on his 32th wks because by that time, his lungs will has 70-80% ok. I was advised by the doctor to stay at the hospital so that they can closely monitored his heart beat (which could be stopped in any second). But after the ultrasound on his 31th wk, we again found that his weight did not gain, we (include the doctor) worried that the oxygen & nutrition supply to him are not enough, so, we took the risk of the function of his lungs and took him out.

At his 1st two days, his lungs are not working well, blood presuure is low, he was connected with a lot of 天線, equipments...心痛又擔心死 :-(

Last week, due to 收水, his weight dropped to 0.88kg, but it started to gain the day before and the milk increase from 2ml at the 1st day to 11ml today. Hope everything go smooth....
