“Easy to Read”是台灣東西出版. Level 1 包含15 本精裝書, 15片CD and 15片VCD 等. 特色是有故事導讀, 回聲遊戲, 210張圖卞, 教學延伸活動. VCD 內容與書本一樣, 如果在台灣金鼎訂會比較平! 我在台灣訂的Level 2上星期已運到香港, 可參照台灣東西出版網頁:http://book.ewbook.com/

I only speak Cantonese with my son except reading English book. My maid helps me much at reading English book to my son during daytime. I will read books, listen the music “We Sing We learn” or play the toys with him at night.

Hi FXPC,

I ordered 5 sets of 100 years of magic disney movies (for me and friends) from dangdang on Sept 11 and received them today (so fast!). I chose Cash on Delivery since it's my first order with them. The delivery guy said he only collected HK dollars instead of RMB. In my case, I paid HK$450 instead of RMB450. Maybe they charge higher for cash on delivery and in your case, payment by credit card is cheaper, especially if you order a lot at one time.

Hello Hadrien-mama,

Which kind of delivery method you choose (4-5 days or 6-7 days?)? It's really very fast to order books and dvd from dangdang. (It's really good choice in less than $90 for 23 Classic Disney DVDs.)

Hope that your kids love the DVDs. (My son likes the Fantasia, Peter Pan, Sleeping beauty, .....)

I'm really very unhappy these few days after reading babycomXXXX's post (a new member again ?-( ?-( ). Why this babycomxxxx didn't use your original identity to post your topic. If you don't like this topic, nobody ask to read the post here. :cry: :cry: :cry:

The original purpose of this discussion that I started was to share / introduce some good books with BK mum's . I feel so exciting when I find lots of the China version books which are the original copyright from DK and some other Taiwan/EW books. These books are only about 1/10 or the oversea version!!!!

I spend quite lot of time in searching these book titles and reorganise the information and posted together with pictures in order to provide a clear / deeper understanding to each book item.

I DID NEVER HARDSELL ANY BOOKSTORE. I'M NOT THE SALES OF THESE BOOKSTORES. IT'S YOUR CHOICE WHERE YOU BUY THE BOOKS OR WHETHER YOU BUY THESE BOOKS!!!!! :evil: :evil: :evil:

by the way, 依家d大陸版"禁"平, 我都諗住買多set比bb, 因為佢依家仲細, d 書比佢睇都擔心好快報銷.

I believe many moms are supporting you and appreciate your effort in sharing your books to us. I am very grateful to see that you post the book lists, together with the content and image of the books. You have provided us an excellent reference and I read this site a few times a day to see if you have any messages posted here.

I chose 6-7 days (i.e. $20 delivery charge) but I don't know why they still delivered it so quick??? I just played the snow white and it's exactly what I saw in the cinema when I was small. The quality is so great! I'm sure my son will like it very much, since his mom is crazy about it (those movies remind me some of my childhood memory... I sat on my brother's lap when we saw the movies together, snow white, sleeping beauty, dumbo...). I also bought one for my maid's 2 daughters and she can't stop thanking me (well, for that little money spent!).

Well, FXPC, you don't have to feel unhappy. I'm sure many of the moms here would like to thank you for your effort in searching the books and suggesting the list for us. Frankly, I had built a small library at home for my son and bought quite a lot of the books recommended by you. As I am a working mom (I typed it wrong in Chinese in my last message, should be 在職媽媽), I really can't spend much time in the bookshops or browse through internet to search for good books at reasonable prices. And I did buy some books at extremely high prices that made me regret very much.

After spending quite a while in BK, I find from time to time there are strange people joining in trying to stir up troubles and spark up fires. Just don't bother. Cheer up!

By the way, I've a bad experience at Dangdang. I ordered few books w/ CD for my kids, but one of the CD was broken when I received, Dangdang requested me to return the book and the broken CD to them for exchange, but the postage is more expensive than the cost of the book.

Did you contact dangdang through email or MSN directly? According to their reply, any of the damaged products can be mail back by surface mail within 10 ten days (ask the post office of the receipt) and fax them the receipt of the postage fee. They will return the postage fee to you (keep in your dangdang account.). Please refer to their website for detail return and refunding procedure.

Maybe the DVDs I bought were wrapped with a plastic sheet and thus not so dirty. I remember last time when I bought the books in Guangzhou 書城, my hands were black in colour and looked like poisoned, haha!

Luckily the DVDs are placed in a hard cover box and no damage is found so far (I haven't tried them all yet). Only a corner of one of the boxes were pressed and bent a little bit. I still hesitate whether to buy the wee sing or not because I'm scared the cassettes will be crashed in transit. I bought CDs from an eBay seller before and the plastic CD cover was smashed even with bubble wrap. It might not worth sending back the goods since the postage charge is not cheap though.

Of course, I did contact them via email once I found out the CD broken. Dangdang just asked me to return the book but didn't mention about the postage fee can be reimburse. Then I asked if I can return the broken cd when the courier give me the new one because of the expensive postage, but rejucted by Dangdang.

I also have two cassettes Wee Seng. They are not broken but one of the wrap is broking.

On the other hand, one of the book has not packed already looked like 2nd hand la.

In fact, I did not buy the wee sing in Guangzhou last time because the book plus the cassette were covered by heavy dust (really look like 出土文物 as described by you). Maybe it's not very famous in China. That's why I hesitate a bit whether I should place an order with dangdang.
