想問下大家知唔知Hermes staff買袋會平幾多到??

不過,我個朋友係寫字樓staff唔係sales~~咁有無得平架??因為都係一般熟想知多少少至去問佢

有fd個妹係Hermes做sales,佢地買袋有7折但3年先得一個quota咋...

寫字樓staff, 30% off, each year limited leather bags quota (more than 1), more quotas for fabric bags.

but the procedure is quite tedious. after u check the item style and no., the staff will need to fill in a form for their manager to approve. if u want to buy something special (e.g. birkin, all leather garden party), it will be gone before the approval is done. unless u want something which is always in stock, e.g. Evelyne and bombay.

其實我就係想買Garden party,不過係canvas jei,因為我唔知Garden party有leather架,不過我想搵既色就難有d~~

Ha..today when i passed by Hermes Central...there is a Shoulder Birkin Bag on the shelf....

I have tried it on.....very nice and it's cost HKD$81,xxx.

Well..it's not good to see such rare bags in the shelf..which means the economy is doing very very bad..

Would you consider selling all (or most of) your collection of other non-Hermes handbags so that you can fund your birkin? I was afraid I won't be interested in my other handbags (for example LV, Gucci, Fendi...) when my birkin arrives... Thanks.

No for me. different styles of bags serve different purposes. Hermes cannot fit all my requirements, e.g., they don't have more formal bags. Hermes cluthes are not formal (the most formal ones are medor and kelly elan which are not formal enough).

I still haven't got a Birkin but probably will get one when I go to Japan this year (to get a secondhand one). I can't afford to buy a brand new one. I have a few Kellys though.

Yes, you are right that after buying Hermes, u won't be interested in LV anymore. I have passed on my small collection of LV to my mum and sister a few years ago.

I want to get a slouchy cyclamen Bolide for everyday use.

I think once you get your Birkin, you will lose interest in most of your other bags. And then you will want more birkins...in other colors...and other Hermes bags...very dangerous...and expensive....

i used to be very addicted to purse forum. whenever I saw smthn new and affordable, I would rush to buy. I don't want to run out of my savings buying luxurious goods. I now spend much much less on handbags, instead, I sold 2 handbags recently.

anyone has a Hermes Lindy, anything u can share (e.g. if it's heavy, use-friendly). I want to get one this year. Tried a 34cm in H shop yesterday, nice, at 48000. Tried a 30cm on in Twist (a shop selling new brand name stuffs) today, quite nice but strap too short, at 40500. This 30cm attracts me because of the price....
any comments on a 30cm vs 34cm? To me, both size looks almost the same as I cannot compare side by side as it comes from 2 different shops.
