Birthday Cake
Plan Description: We need around 6 cakes (~10-12 inches), each can serve 16 people, 6*16= 96 people. Cakes will be home-made and prepared by our mums. Please sign-up below if you could help to make the cakes.

Party Photo
Plan Description: We could have 5-6 camera-men helping us (tentative plan is to ask our friends, free service, to register and join as adult participants, i.e. they could enjoy the buffet and each needs to pay $55 for the food, no need to pay for the expenses of other things like balloons and decorations). We will use "hoto-Coupon" concept. If we have 50 families, each can have the photo service for ~8-10 min, we could have 50*10min=500min. If we have 5 camera-men, each needs to take 100 min (around 2 hours) of photos. We could then spare 1hr for group photos and tea buffet (food) time for the camera-men. I am asking my sister to lend me a Swing (big one, those placed in the gardens) which could be used for photo taking. We could also bring some toys (like Pooh Pooh and Bear Bear) and stack them up for taking photos. After the party, we will ask the camera-men and all daddys to upload the photos to the ftpserver, such that we could share the party photos with all people.

Play Group Games
Plan Description:
- I am asking my friend, who has joined a 6-month play group, to share us what kind of games can be played with 6 months
- Group Dance - We could plan some dancing musics and do the dancing with babies, e.g. Head-Shoulder-Knees-and-Toes

誰是誰B競猜遊戲
Plan Description: Each mum will send nn a photo of BB with its face clearly shown on the photo. nn will edit the photo and make a photo with ~20-25 eyes, one photo with ~20-25 mouths. nn will then post the 2 photos 2 weeks before the party. Each mum will then guess whose eyes/mouths are, and pm the answers to nn 2 days before the party. The answers will be announced at the end of the Play Group Games session. Winners will get a toy (sponsored by my friend who is working in a toy factory). I got 2-3 pieces of the toys, if we have more than 2-3 winners (who get the same score), we will have lucky draw for those who get the highest score to pick the winners.

Summary: $55 + (650+480+30+50)/100 = $67.10 each person (except hand-carrying babies)

DRAFT Plan: To transfer $70 per person to nn's account before Jan 5 (Wed) to confirm attendency. If we spend less than the budgetary plan, refund will be performed at the party's reception desk. Once I pay the cafe for the deposit (around 1st of Jan), I will post the receipt here for mums to review.

(I) Afternoon Tea Buffet
Cafe Musical Sunday Afternoon (whole cafe) from 2:30-5:30pm min charge is $4000 for min 80 people (excluding 10% service charge), so, it is around $55 (including 10% service charge) per person (according to the cafe, adult and children have same price) for cafe buffet. If we have more than 80 people, each will cost $55 (including 10% service charge). I will confirm with Mr. Fong of Cafe Muscial this coming Sunday

(II) Birthday Cakes
- $600 for 6 birthday cakes
- $50 for candles and lighter

(III) Party Decoration
- $5-8 each for Hydrogen Balloons, around 60 balloons, so, $8*60 = $480

我應該可以找到4個攝影朋友來幫bb影相, 但佢地係唔係免費好o的呀!我地每個大人只不過比多幾元!請各位比o的意見!!
另外我見妳個預算每人夾$67...., 若每人夾70元, 是否不夠呢! 因為有o的項目未實際知道金錢! 預鬆少少會好o的!

Birthday Cake
Plan Description: We need around 6 cakes (~10-12 inches), each can serve 16 people, 6*16= 96 people. Cakes will be home-made and prepared by our mums. Please sign-up below if you could help to make the cakes.

Party Photo
Plan Description: We could have 5-6 camera-men helping us (tentative plan is to ask our friends, free service, to register and join as adult participants, i.e. they could enjoy the buffet and each needs to pay $55 for the food, no need to pay for the expenses of other things like balloons and decorations). We will use "hoto-Coupon" concept. If we have 50 families, each can have the photo service for ~8-10 min, we could have 50*10min=500min. If we have 5 camera-men, each needs to take 100 min (around 2 hours) of photos. We could then spare 1hr for group photos and tea buffet (food) time for the camera-men. I am asking my sister to lend me a Swing (big one, those placed in the gardens) which could be used for photo taking. We could also bring some toys (like Pooh Pooh and Bear Bear) and stack them up for taking photos. After the party, we will ask the camera-men and all daddys to upload the photos to the ftpserver, such that we could share the party photos with all people.

Play Group Games
Plan Description:
- I am asking my friend, who has joined a 6-month play group, to share us what kind of games can be played with 6 months
- Group Dance - We could plan some dancing musics and do the dancing with babies, e.g. Head-Shoulder-Knees-and-Toes

誰是誰B競猜遊戲
Plan Description: Each mum will send nn a photo of BB with its face clearly shown on the photo. nn will edit the photo and make a photo with ~20-25 eyes, one photo with ~20-25 mouths. nn will then post the 2 photos 2 weeks before the party. Each mum will then guess whose eyes/mouths are, and pm the answers to nn 2 days before the party. The answers will be announced at the end of the Play Group Games session. Winners will get a toy (sponsored by my friend who is working in a toy factory). I got 2-3 pieces of the toys, if we have more than 2-3 winners (who get the same score), we will have lucky draw for those who get the highest score to pick the winners.

Cafe Musical Sunday Afternoon (whole cafe) from 2:30-5:30pm min charge is $4000 for min 80 people (excluding 10% service charge), so, it is around $55 (including 10% service charge) per person (according to the cafe, adult and children have same price) for cafe buffet. If we have more than 80 people, each will cost $55 (including 10% service charge). I will confirm with Mr. Fong of Cafe Muscial this coming Sunday

I am thinking of 1 Hydrogen Balloons (升空) for each baby (they can hang the balloons at their hands or the BB strolleys), and 10 extra as photo back-drop. So, it will be around 60 hydrogen balloons... will it be too troublesome for bringing balloons to the cafe? Or should we find some companies which could pump the balloons at the cafe for us right before the party? Please kindly advise which way is more suitable for our case...

We could also have those 普通 balloons for decoration as well. I think 50-60 will be enough. Do you have the pump for pumping these 普通 balloons?

最古靈精怪相比賽
Plan Description: Each mum will send 1 photo of BB for participating the 最古靈精怪相比賽. Once we receive the photos, the photos will be scanned and posted onto imagestation for mums to view beforehand. The photos will be stuck onto a whiteboard that will be setup at the cafe. Each person will be given a sticker at the reception, and you could use the sticker to VOTE for the photo that you think is 最古靈精怪. We will count the no. of stickers at middle of the party to determine who is the winner.

<全場最??>選舉
Plan Description: We will define 5 全場最?? for 選舉 and announce the themes at the beginning of the party. We will distribute 5 colored voting papers to mums/dads at reception at the beginning. We will setup 5 boxes putting at the stage for people to vote for the 5 themes. The voting deadline is around 3:35pm, and we will count the votes from 3:35-3:55pm. At 3:55pm, we will announce the winners of the 5 themes and ask the winning BBs to come to the stage for a "cat-walk".

I think we have limited venue choices, and based on the website info, Cafe Musical looks pretty good (in terms of decoration/setup, space, price, etc.). So, if you mums is OK, I could go by myself to the cafe on Sunday and discuss with the cafe manager for details (including time/date availability, food/menu choices, detailed calculation of the cost, decoration/setup of the tables/stage, etc. Did I miss anything here???). I will then post the info back here and let you mums to review and decide whether it is OK.

I am thinking of lunch time... I might have a primary schoolmate gathering at this cafe for lunch for this coming Sunday, in this way, I could try the food and service as well. I could meet you before or after my primary schoolmate gathering at the cafe... what do you think?

Let me try to answer the questions... actually, this is a function that all our mums design, organize and plan together for our babies, so, your idea and comments are also welcome.

There is no strict definition on ABC. I checked with the Cafe staff and he told me that "Hand-carry baby" does not need to pay as they will not consume the drinks/food. For kids, as long as they are not hand-carry and they will eat the food, they will need to pay. The cafe will charge the kids at the same price as adult. So, I guess we could follow the cafe's definition for this party arrangement as this helps us to plan the financial budget.

So, for 13歲, it could be defined as C=child, however, he/she needs to pay the $55 for buffet price.

For 2歲半及3歲, let me check with the cafe manager later today, to see whether they will charge them or not.

As long as we still have slots, all are welcome... but please be reminded that our programme is designed for babies and parents, relatives may feel boring if they don't have the babies in hand for them to play with. E.g. in the dancing section, the fathers and mothers will hold the babies, sitting on the plastic mat, and dance together; same for the hand/foot print section; the relatives could only sit aside and enjoy the buffet :wink: :wink:

This is like the handprint/footprint on the 星光大道. You can decide whether to make it as both hands, one hand, both feet, or one foot. Please be reminded that we have limited time for this part, so, I would suggest to plan for 1 hand or 1 foot first. We haven't concluded which model/product to buy as some mothers will bring their own package. We will see whether majority of the mums need to order, if so, we will check for the products/prices info later on. Please keep checking this forum for latest info.

For the seat arrangement, you could check out the Cafe Musical website for the photo of the restaurant. The restaurant has a "Wooden Dance Floor" in the middle for which there is no tables/chairs. We will place the plastic mats in this area for the games and for BBs to play/sit. For seating, there will be tables along the window sides circulating the Dance Floor. I think it might be better to spare seats for kids and adults, and remove extra seats such that we have space for parents to place the BB Strolleys beside the table, and BB will sit inside its strolleys. For 6 months, it is still not safe enough to place BB on adult chair or using the restaurant provided BB chair which is placed on top of the adult chair.

Plan Description: 請媽咪先提供BB清晰大頭照片一張給nn, nn會將相片輯成一張有20-25對眼睛及一張有20-25個咀的相片, 此二張合成相片會於生日會前2星期張貼出來, 每個家庭均可参與競猜及必須在27/2或以前將競猜答案pm給nn。 正確答案將於生日會當天公佈, 勝出者可得玩具禮品1份, 若有多于2-3位勝出者(同分數的)將以抽籤決定。

最古靈精怪相比賽
Plan Description: Each mum will send 1 photo of BB for participating the 最古靈精怪相比賽. Once we receive the photos, the photos will be scanned and posted onto imagestation for mums to view beforehand. The photos will be stuck onto a whiteboard that will be setup at the cafe. Each person will be given a sticker at the reception, and you could use the sticker to VOTE for the photo that you think is 最古靈精怪. We will count the no. of stickers at middle of the party to determine who is the winner.

<全場最??>選舉
Plan Description: We will define 5 全場最?? for 選舉 and announce the themes at the beginning of the party. We will distribute 5 colored voting papers to mums/dads at reception at the beginning. We will setup 5 boxes putting at the stage for people to vote for the 5 themes. The voting deadline is around 3:35pm, and we will count the votes from 3:35-3:55pm. At 3:55pm, we will announce the winners of the 5 themes and ask the winning BBs to come to the stage for a "cat-walk".

All,

As the cafe is designed for 140 seats (max.), although it only counts adults/kids, but we still need to allow some space for the babies and their strolleys. May I suggest to set 110 seats (A+C) as our limit, any late registration beyond 110 seats (A+C) will be in the waiting list, i.e. their registration will be accepted only when there is registered mum who cancels the registration.

As of Jan 1 (3:10pm), we have 101A, 52B, 4C (A+C=105), so, we still have ---- [size=x-large] 5 個位
