How are you doing? I think holiday is gone. It seems us back to normal route. Lately two weeks, I busyed for my cousin thing ( he was sicked and entered to hospital, now is ok la )
Talking about me, my due date is close ( March ) It seems much busy for everything. Of course, I worried how to arrange my elder daughter schedule, after c-section, I hard to upstair to my bedroom and bed. I maybe sleep alone in home office by myself and newborn bb. The more worry is my elder daughter. I will hard to take care well to her during my "sit moon" period. Anyway, time is not waiting for me. Let's go!

Welcome home ah... and waiting for your father's birthday photo. Take a long trip with kid, I still dare not to try so far. Wow, you begin to clean up for Chinese New Year. I seem to lazy and still not for this.

Last time ( Feb2005 ) we took my girl to flight, we took our own car seat together and the airlines helped us to pack with a plastic bag. However; When we arrived, our car seat still stay at LAX airport. And the airlines has a car seat supplied to us until they sent my own car seat to our hotel next day. If only you go, it is good for rent a car seat in a rental car service. About your parents come to visit you, like Nilie_Mami said many Hk people to visit Hawaii, and I know you may notice the airlines your parents need an assistant to help in flight. ( when you book the air-ticket ) This is FREE. Good Luck to you! :-P

I like to print out the pictures from Shutterfly and kodakgallery, but also have tried dotphotos, ofoto and photoworks. Each company has pros and cons. Recently, I created a photo book (similar to the year book in high school) to capture Corey’s growth from 0 to 6 months through photoworks. I arranged 100 pictures in a 20 page photo book. I think I may start centralize Corey’s picture in this type of photo book. It’s easier to manage and minimize the loose pictures.

I'm glad to meet so many moms here, regardless of the distance, we are linked together. I have been in LA for few months only, but just settled down last month when we rent the house. Then my parent came visit me 2 days after I moved to new address. Although we are very new here, they were happy to see we can manage our new lives here. Actually we have a close friend here in m Arcadia who helps us a lot. That's why we stay in same area. We are lucky to rent a house which is just right opposite to school (preschool + element. school). But preschool has only 2 half days for my elder daughter on Tue/ Thur. So yesterday I found another preschool for Charmine on M/W/F. I know it's not easy for her to adapt 2 school lives, but it's better than none, at least her live pattern can be more routine, and she can learn / attend some more activities in the interim.

There are always full of chanllenges in begining a new page of live .... everything we did is for the benefit of our next generation. Recently my husband returns HK, I need to handle all stuff by my own... :-(

My expected due date is March 18th...about 2 more months to go! How about you? I gain about 20 lbs and my waist reaches 40-inch la~ wow I don't even realize if you don't ask! But I don't eat much??? interesting... Did you take Lamaze class? I just finished mine last weekend and my hubby said it was fun

well, when it comes real I don't know if he'd find it fun! Do you know if yours is a boy or girl?

This is AngieMame...I'm a pregnant/stay-home mom in my 7th month. Welcome! I hope you can make it to the LA Moms Gathering...I will go with my hubby and it's our first time to meet other moms too.

Don't worry! You'll get used to the life in here. It takes time to adjust to a whole new place so just relax and take things one step at a time la~ You'll be fine. See, you've already making new friends via BK and that's wonderful, right? Good luck to you. If you like to chat, I use both msn and yahoo as well.

Do you have any family members who can assist you during “sit moon” period? If not, perhaps you should start interview a “sit moon nanny” la. It definitely helps and you can be more relaxed.

Dear all LA moms,

My husband defers his return date to next week... :-( so I may not be able to attend the gathering law ... :-( :-( Driving at daytime is quite okay to me la (ma ma tei), but I'm wondering if I can do it well at night.

Today I received a call on behalf of Santa Anita Mall (a big shopping Mall here), someone told me my husband wins a brand new car in the lottery held 2 months ago. Then I called my husband to call back, it was just talking about the final round and reqest his present to a place at Ontario. My husband refuses. Did any of you has similar experience ?? Do you think such big "frog" jumping on street ???

I totally understand your feeling about driving at night... me too, at daytime I am OK. So don't feel too bad if u cannot join us this time. Next time maybe we have it done during lunch time somewhere nearby again!

Talking about the "big frog", did your husband really participate in that lucky draw? If it's a mall, I think it's real thing because I remember reading newspaper about lucky draw with similiar procedure: the final maybe 10 people will go to a place and each given a key, see who can finally open the car door....

I want my body back too! Karina will be 4 months soon and I definitely cannot fit into my old pants... :-( Now I go to work only with 2-3 set of clothings that really fit!!!!! I read an article saying that the last 5-10 lbs maybe our body's design to reserve nutrient for our baby via breast milk. So if we keep on bf, that 5-10 lbs will still be there!

My problem is… I need to chop off more than 25 lbs la. I should have lost more than 10 before getting pregnant. However, I was overstressed at work so I couldn’t focus on losing weight. Now, I feel like to back to the track.

I still got the same problem even my younger daughter is 2.3yr now... Ideally I need to lose at least 15-20 lb, but I would be happy enough to take away 10 lb ...
Last week, I passed by a dance school and looked for some courses for Charmine. At the same time, a mother w/ her young girl were asking hundred of questions about weight lose by attending their classes ... I'm just wondering should I take a class at the same time w/ Charmine... but I'm afraid I don't have the courage to wear the dancing dress ... :-( :-( :-(

Happy New Year! 很久沒有上ＢＫ, 你哋好嗎？我從香港回來差不多two weeks 啦, 剛剛才adjust 好仔仔的時差, 之前晚晚半夜都要起床陪他，不知幾辛苦呢! 今次返香港非常開心,因為己經幾年沒有返, 今次帶埋仔仔見返屋企人和好朋友,感覺非常之好。美中不足的是原先打算留仔仔比奶奶湊兩三日，我和老公可以去吓短程trip, enjoy 吓二人世界。點之仔仔十分之認人，除了我之外不肯跟其它人，結果係點? 差不多去边到都要帶住個仔。我和老公只係去咗食一餐二人世界的Lunch! 失哂預算! :cry: :cry:

今過trip, 發覺仔仔很喜歡出街。不知是不是出得街多見得人多 (响美国得我哋三個人), 我覺得仔仔好似精靈和活潑咗啲! 我想回來之後都要同仔仔出多啲街先得啦！ :lol:

還有今個trip 另一個大收獲係我老公買咗個手寫板比我,我可以寫中文啦！

I can see your concerns after giving birth to baby 2. Maybe you can ask your lovely 99 to help you during the sitmoon month. I remembered you mentioned about putting your daughter in preschool, do you still plan on doing that? I will begin potty training natalie next month to get her ready for school in the fall. If she goes to school for 3 half days, I will have some freedom

Thanks for your advice. My hubby was actually thinking of taking a family trip to HK this coming winter. Hopefully natalie will be potty trained by then. But I know she will still need to nap

If we don't go to HK, then we will go to toronto. Hopefully I can stop by NYC to see you and other NY moms :-P :-P :-P
