thanks for the info. Cheuk Yiu has just done the eye checking two months ago, at Hopewell Centre. As advised by the doctor, annual checking is ok for her. So, I plan to let her check again next year.

No clue at all my dear

He attended the interview with a group of 10 (or more) kids. Didn't know what did he do inside the music room. He only told me one thing that the (so-called) teacher would pick 3 kids each time and they needed to stand in front of her and...... sing.

My girl was born in Feb 2003 and she is applying CCKG for K2 2007.

Hi leeszeming,

I haven't done any detail research on CCKG, but just knowing that it is a famous kindergarten around the area. Hope that it helps my girl to a good primary school in case she is accepted. I will not put my girl to any training class or any special effort before the interview as I do not think they are useful (in term of mannerliness it should be trained during the daily life). Also I am OK if my girl is being rejected as the kindergarten that she is attending is also quite good, but not famous and not around Kowloon Tong (since I live in Yuen Long).

Anyway, I know that it will be an English interview to the kids by the principal only. Parents will be required to wait outside.

I bought one parent-kid yoga dvd and tried to do it with my girl but she was not interested in it ;( it seems that it's not easy for her to follow every instruction.

regarding cckg, thanks for yr detailed info! I heard that the application deadline is nov 7 and we passed already.

It means that CCKG will accept 42 boys and 42 girls disregard the applying ratio of boys and girls. Since the number of girls applying CCKG is more than boys, thus the chance for girls to get into CCKG is lower than boys.

I heard that yoga is very good for kids in terms of character development. I would like to see if there is any yogo course for little kids at Yuen Long. Anyway, it seems hard to find.
