The tricky point for combining is also because I need to make sure that those items 'held' by my unpaid order must be released in the right time when I cancel the old order and immediately make a new order. Otherwise, I will lose the held items. Know what? Peaston sets are out of stock alrdy!!

BTW, if I remembered correctly, I found this Lego model no. 7344 at PTU a month ago where the list price was~ $17X. (But I still need to confirm. Let me know if you need my help. You can also make prepayment order for LEGO at PTU, they will offer ~2X% disc. I'm not so sure the exact discount, but the price should be better than other department stores or toysurs'. As I know that my colleague always ordered LEGO through PTU. My kids didn't show much interest in LEGO, so I didn't order LEGO from PTU or buy many LEGOs elsewhere before.)

O dear, I thought the Jusco offer was v good tim ! :-( And I forgot Lego is sold in PTU. Next time will go check out PTU before buying. Tonight it was big pig who spotted that dump truck and urged me to buy for piglet. V funny.

If and when I buy a Mindstorm set for piglet (now costs $2399 in Jusco), will check with PTU first. This is a most interesting set which permits remote control of the Lego item made (robot).

Will check what's on offer from Peace first. If anything interesting then check wtih Ms. Fong.

Actually I found an interesting simpl Chin book on Bio/Chem or Phy in Idxx last night, but 1. the cover was tattered, 2. only 1 of a set of 2 books was available, so I did not buy. (Of course, I forgot the name.

)

PTU = teachers' union,

one co-op store in Canal Rd under the bridge (where the old ladies

siu yan every year), the other in Mongkok.
You need to be a member of an educational institution in order to join as a member, among the members' benefits is the privilege to shop there, at a much-discounted price, for stationery, some supermarket items, some books. But usually items are quite difficult to find there. Some ppl w/o membership would ask members for loan of membership card to shop there (or wait at the shroff and ask some 3-5-sik-7 person to wave the card and enjoy the discount).

And you really do buy EVERYTHING from Lego to Thomas to books !!!

Tks for Prof Tse's articles (is he a Dr or Prof ?) in adv.

For IPA course, I would still prefer to have company, otherwise if I faint nobody will look after me.

The Mindstorm set includes some microprocessor chips for remote control, xxx sensors.

If you click under "

rimary", you will find some unseen sets which are even more interesting than just Lego bricks for building.
And if you check the "Where to buy" - Hong Kong, there is a company in CheungShaWan which has such products.

I think those Lego items under "

rimary" are the Legos which an ECA centre uses for higher-level Lego courses, involving Physics concepts. Very interesting. But wonder whether individual consumers can go there and buy.

I got a set "School Start" --> Early Maths and Literacy --> Numbers Set from SF last year. (Haven't used it yet, just wanted to own.

)

Piglet's latest craze is DingDong
- both the comic books and the VCDs.

He downloaded an online game / demo 上海飛龍 but this game was very soon 剷ed by big pig because it was too brutal / bloody !

So online games (less brutal ones from yahoo games, and ones from lego.com and megablocks.com), DingDong and other TV cartoons during the day. Then 3 Engl books and 1 Chin book for school book reports after dinner.

Piglet also watches Dora cartoons, but NO Barbie for him thanks.

PTU provides 23% discount for Lego products. According to my colleague, she told me that you can order those LEGO products which are available in the HK market only. (As some items may not be imported to HK.).
