我就無問題, 係個大女就麻煩D, 剛剛安排佢返PUBLIC SCHOOL, 但只係得下午班....星期一上堂我有D擔心佢, 英文唔識講, 重要自己找班房, 對佢嚟講好似有D難度, 我最怕佢到時喊到收唔到聲.....!!!
安頓好個女就要開始搵工做, 重有要睇樓...現暫住老爺奶奶屋企, 有D唔習慣, 不過希望盡快搬啦, 始終都係自己一家住好D.

4 years ago when we come, we spent almost 2 months to do the house search. open house, model homes, sales office...etc we came in Dec and got the house we want in late Jan, and wait for 1 year to have it built and closed.

This might not be the right time to look for the house, people told us the best time is from April -Sep.
anyway, you got a place to stay, then no rush. like us, we stayed in BIL's house for a month, and then we moved out for 1 year, to wait for our new home to close

我住markham區, mcowan & steeles個邊. 個女間學校華人唔係好多, 特別係JK, 佢個班得1個中國人小朋友囉. 其實都怕架, 佢咁細, 人生路不熟, 初時連去廁所都唔識講, 我晌香港個時都有教佢架, 但一到緊張既時候就咩都唔識. 希望個女會盡快融入當地社會啦.

I returned from Toronto to HK after 911, very bad time! Does anyone know if my baby is due in HK, can I apply at HK for his Canadian Citizenship? Btw, I have not yet register my marriage in Canada, will it be a problem?

I think I saw a few message about Driver's License. Yes, u can exchange for a HKDL with presence of your Canadian DL, but cannot do so vice versa. In Canada, u need to take examinations. I already got mine in HK. Same applies to China.

Hey doggie,

Long time no chat. How is your work and family, still eating what you husband cooks and play badminton?

I am still busy, though my girl is in grade 1, I am still working part-time. So everyday is a rush, although school already started a month, I am still adjusting my time. The most headache thing is they have different school times : my son (8a-230p),my girl (830a-305p), everyday you almost wasted 2 hrs in dropping & picking them. I tried to work only 2 days a week(longer working hours) as the gas price though a little bit lower than before, but still high.

So not much time to leave message here. Got to go and pick them up again, and to gynmastic class with my girl, so library time with my boy. Will not be home until after 5pm.

yes i understand, last time we back on end of Jan for search the house, we found the high price that cannot affortable...that is why we still have to stay with his parents (also with sister-in-law, what a trouble lady). i think will buy the new one rather than the old ones, so it may be take some time even a year to move in upon built & closed. i dun know what to do if rental is better to stay with them or not...any suggestion to me? please help...!!

Which part do you live, I can't type Chinese in this computer. Though I go to work 2 days, actually I used to work at home, like last night, after they went to bed, I work from 930 to 1130pm.

Yes, the kids really makes us busy & stressful. My girl Monday girl guide, Wed gynmastic, Thur piano, Sat chinese school. My son just go to piano, as he has been playing soccer since K, indoor/outdoor non stop for 5 yrs. He is in Grade 5 this yr, so we stop the indoor soccer but may keep playing outdoor when weather turns warm.

How many kids do you have?

我住toronto markham,大仔G.3,細女G.1,兩個我都係叫佢地大少爺同大小姐

大少爺一星期兩日TAEKWON-DO,兩日去學文法,一日去游水,一日去學畫,咁就用晒6日喇

大小姐MON-FRI去課後補習班,SAT去游水,又係用晒6日喇,上年SUMMER我仲慘,老公幫兩個細路報SUMMER CAMP,一個報MARKHAM放3:30,一個報SCARBOROUGH放4:00,大佬呀

我點接放學呀D時間咁 :-( 所以今年SUMMER我講明一定要一齊返,唔係唔好報 :mrgreen:

**我有時在公司可以上一陣bk,晚上小朋友

yes, I am still doing my "Siu-9-9", housework, cooking all done by my husband, and I just responsible for earning $$.
still playing badminton 3 times a week -but still put on weight - doctor advise us to loose at least 5 lbs, best result in 10 lbs within a year, otherwise, high risk for getting stroke - a fat c-9.

babyanson - yes, we agreed to buy a new house is much better than an old one or even rented one, as too many things to follow thru from the ex-occupants.

mamamum - I'm more lucky than u- could surf the website during the office hour...
