Regarding the teats issue, I have more to say. My little one had tried 2 different teats in the hospital, one is the Similac (at that time he has formula supplement a few times, used to be cup feed, but than I decided to pump exclusively and bottle feed him, so I used bottle) and the other is the one with the medela milk pump (but I am not sure about the brand of the bottle). Both are OK, and the Similac one is actually quite good.
Than when we are home, he used Nuk (the common one) which is very good indeed. The flow control, the air system... ... Since I used Avent pump and for one other reason I will explain later, I also let him tried the Avent teat. I don't think the Avent one is as good as the Nuk one (at least for my little one), it seemed more difficult to suck and he drank slower and less. So I decided not to use the Avent one after 2 attempts.
Then sometime ago, I bought a Nuk microwave steamer and 3 Nuk 肥樽 came with it. I let my little one tried those 肥樽 and it turned out they are as good as the common Nuk bottles (if not better) in terms of the flow control, air system etc.
The other reason I wanna my little one to try more different teats is that, a friend of mine gave her daughter Nuk bottles when she started bottle feed the baby besides breastfeeding. It was very ok until once my friend forgot to bring a bottle with her, her daughter (1.5 years old) refused to used other brands and kept crying for couple of hours till they went home. So I want my little one can get used to more than one kind of bottle/teat, although I may cup feed him if I really have to.
