i've been back to singapore last sat. lah! it was soooo tiring to bring geralyn along to fly, lucky i got my hubby to help out this time! it was okey lah....she didn't give too much trouble to us, but most of ppl (in airport) think she's much older than her actual age (9-10m), ah

aiya, i didn't know u went GC last sat, i heard they're on sale in Nov, i want to buy Glenn Doman's encyclopedia set, it costs much cheaper in s'pore here! u think they've an email address i can contact if they will send overseas, but s'pore also got GC, i wonder they'll ask me to buy here, but the price is much much more expensive here, i wonder why???

Here is what Wing Fung Learnt in last week playgroup :

游戲(1) :嗅一嗅 => 刺激探索性游戲
soaked different liquids(e.g. soya sauce, cooking wines, vinegar) into cotton buds, then put them into small plastics container with holes. You smell it first to demonstrate to baby, then put it in front baby's nose and let's baby to smell it.
Interestingly, Wing Fung can distinguish smell and eat. He won't open his mouth to eat the container, but he might dislike some smell. I used to bring him to supermarket for shopping, and bring orange, lemon in front of his nose for him to smell...that's the cheapest way...ha ha..

游戲(2) :交換手游戲 => 訓練雙手協調運用
Give one object (handful size) to baby, he will grasp it with one hand. Then give him another object and train him to transfer the object in hand to another hand first before taking the new one. Change the object shape and size for the same game.

游戲(3) :Fitball 游戲 => 發展坐及上肢伸展的能力
Let baby stand beside the Fitball (large size) with your support, lead him to hit the fitball with one hand. Then let him sit on the top of the ball, jump up and down gentally. Similar exercises are also mentioned in 媽媽寶寶 Oct,04 Edition.

Nice to hear that you’re back to S’pore with geralyn safely. Hehe……..You did very well ar.

I went to ‘Kin Hong Yuen’ with Kiu Kiu last Saturday, ppl also think that she is much older than her actual age tim???? Maybe all BBs there were smaller than her la. Actually I do feel our BBs grow up much …….they are almost for 6 + months old liao. When my hubby and I look at the new born baby, wow……….our 皇帝女 is soooo big.

糖糖 told me that you bought a ‘writing pad’ to write Chinese words here wor? How’s going? I think I probably have to buy one too. And many thanks to you as well, it was really nice chatting with you in person. I won’t forget the conversation with you and Fion until mid night that day!!

My S’pore friend might come to HK during the x’mas time, do you want me to buy a DG’s encyclopedia set for you? But it’s still far to end of Dec wor.

Forgot to tell you ar….the cleansing gel / lotion for Kiu Kiu is name of ‘Mustela’, I bought it in BeBe dream, it’s quite useful ga. But I’m not sure if you could find it in ‘Ho Fa’.

Aiya….I took some funny pics for our BBs when we met up last Sat, let’s me show you and 糖糖 soon la. I just think Long Long is very lucky, have 2 baby gals to play toys together with him.

Have you started playing the phonics kids’s CD/VCD to your BBs? Kiu Kiu seems like to watch it wor….especially the VCD. My hubby keeps singing ‘a a a, a is for alligator’ by himself etc…. Very funny.:mrgreen:

oh, tks for offering such favour, but i guess my family may come over soon too, cuz they already miss "wei wei" alot, i believe i can ask them to buy for me, tks again!

yes, i bought a writing pad but my pc is winXP in english and after installation, i still can't write on it, sigh....very troublesome! i spoke to the technical support here already, he asked me to uninstall and reinstall, well no time to do it, maybe tonite when my hubby got in cuz "wei wei" is so naughty now, she wants me to play & carry her all the time, i wish i can communicate with you all in chinese one day lah!

how's the teething of catherine? more to come?

荷花無'Mustela'咖，BeBe Dream / Honey B Times Square/ Caswell-Massey in Prince Bldg. 啦。穎鋒一露有用開它的no-rinse cleaning fluid(Face/diaper area)洗臉。通常我去BeBe Dream買，因爲pamper card有折扣，不過成日無貨。但是折扣到九月底完了！

fitball..some people also called it gym ball。People do exercises (like situp, push up) on it. Usually can be available in 體育用品店鋪。
