Sorry for the late reply. Yes, there are many Chinese around my place, even on my street/development. I used to bring Howie to Toddler group and story group in the library since he's 1yr. Now he goes to nursery two mornings a week. Although he has been to nursery for 2 months only, he picked up many words from there and can speak some simple sentence now.
I see you mentioned about the problem of our name in UK. As we don't want to have the same problem on Howie, we put Howie's name on all documents without the 發音 of 皓為, even on his birth certificate.
