thank you for your support Maisyraymond (U know what , my hubby is also called raymond !)

Now I am not teaching , 我反而覺得做到當年入行的目的和一份使命,就是幫助別人成長, live a better life ! 以前做得不開心,沒有空間.現在正是助人自助,長遠說,我要贖回自已,我不要由bun bun 代替自已在家庭的位置.我要給家人將來一個真正實質的保障, 而不是一份保險單 ! 我看到很多好例子,清楚知道自己做了一個什麼樣的決定. 選擇真的比努力重要.

yes, totally agree. I know making wise choices is crucial in determining how one's life is. But in reality, not everybody can make his choice freely. There are so many factors to be considered.

Sometimes I am quite confused what I am doing now. For money? For interest? For better future life? For faith in education?

I don't know...

轉半職?背後一定是壓力！沒時間揍仔？工作做不完？半職少一半人工及不穩定性增加,這又会否形成另一種壓力？邊方面significant d？
如換轉是我,hb份工stable就得,我hb只是SGM,不會像private sector賺十萬八萬或更多,但其實我已滿足; but now,教書邊會stable,我down grade做GM都少了2萬+,有Ｄ人会話我蠢,一齊挨law,挨得一年得一年。
你hb 份工stable嗎？又他能bear 少了你份糧嗎？什麼也為孩子,多個$$重要嗎？你頂得住份工嗎？

I understand it only affects a very small precentage in the teaching force, but for the sake of our fellow teachers, please help sign this petition. :-(

We all know how demanding and stressful this job is.

My hb works in the mainland and does not live with me (he comes back only on Sat/Sun). I am just a GM and his salary is just slightly more than mine.

Very soon, my baby will be born and my elder son will enter P.1. I'm just afraid I'll be mentally ill if I handle everything in my family all by myself.

養小Ｂ2年內開支有限,也不用愁bor.
我地份工真係太困身兼令人心力交瘁,半職？我都想ga.
其實,GM半份糧已不俗,多番半日教養孩子,及恢復身心健康,值得啊！我見你好似很stressful及很灰！要小心啊,多Ｄ同hb及frd�我地傾訴下la.
懷孕期情緒易波動,去留問題未必想清楚！抖下先la.,Take care.

我都諗緊轉唔轉半職好..
Aloy身體唔好( 剛剛先出院咋!), 成日要去醫院出出入入, 我返半日下午可以陪佢覆診, 或者陪佢多d..
如果我唔做靠hb, hb會好辛苦...
淨係今次aloy病一病都用左差不多三萬蚊, 仲要keep住覆診 :cry:
遲d 小b出世.. 奶粉尿片..真係開支好大

Dear all teachers,

I share with how you feel and I know how difficult the situation is.

just wondering, if you may like to get to know an alternative, as a protection to your life apart from teaching (PS: not insurance !)

If you still have dreams for your life and really want a better future for your family, I don't see why you dont' look for one more choice, what is more, you don't have to give up teaching...

而家好多中學都用cm價請gm,再唔係就係1年contract, 岩岩尋日開會, 校長先公布有兩個教左成10年既cm (入職時已有學位),可以升為gm..

而且校長講明年度既budget, 只會用作請contract教師同埋TA + IT人...我相信大部分學校都係一樣 :-| :-|

你點計呢？2000年後入職的GM不是由PT.12跳至PT.17嗎？不是加5個PT.嗎？只是CM加至PT.14冇咁顯著。
若GM起薪改為pt.17 +年資(5?)=PT.22
我同幾個同事去年轉GM(由SGM降或由CM REGRADE),無啦啦跟新制扣左幾點(SE左年資)，終於一降冇左成10點,Regrade的赤只原地踏步,我地都望加番好Ｄ bor！
不過,呢幾年少收左ge就真係喊吾番！ :-(
