不過除左個course好玩外﹐你話會不會係因為可頤都已經大個左女&見多左場面呢﹖ 亦有可能係多D小朋友﹐她唔覺得被注視而感到害羞不安呢﹖﹖﹖﹖﹖

可能啦, but最近一齊試堂都係呢一個月左右o既事, 唔會差咁遠啩. 總之希望呢個唔係假象, 到正式上堂時唔好打回原形side我$$就得嘞. :lol:

Hi all

Can you all give me a personal opinion. If I am to stay in Australia for 4 years and come back and enroll Rachel to Local school for Primary 1. Do you think it is too hard for her to catch up? What are the things I should be aware of or to be prepared to ease her adaption? i.e. learning Chinese writing and speak to her in Cantonese at home. Thanks.

Q1 - 係咪兩公婆一齊同Rachael去先﹐If yes, please ignore the following but 如果唔係就請三思呀。我個老死就係因為做太空人三年﹐而家搞到家不成家呀。

Q2 - 點解去4年呢﹖ 估你應該唔係因為證件問題喇。如果係想返去﹐點解又唔永久 move back 呢﹖

Caveat 1 - 我個老死個仔返來後係ESF讀grade 5,6﹐因為中文唔得入唔到local school。但小朋友有identity crisis. As he is the Chinaboy in the eyes of 鬼仔﹐but his is also the 鬼仔in the eyes of local Chinese children. This happens even in ESF, you can imagine the situation if it happens in local school. 不過到時Rachael 重細﹐情況會唔同既。

Caveat 2 - Besides Rachel, you may also want to consider你同老公的career prospect 問題。我都有唔少朋友回流後比以前D subordinates扒頭反超前。不過當然﹐好彩繼續步步高昇的亦唔少。

Actually I don't have any concrete opinion for you. But I just wondering whether Rachel can adapt to HK after staying 4 years in Australia. By that time she's 6 and not a baby girl anymore. What if she doesn't like HK. Have you got plan for it? Just remember Tess's experience during her holiday right now. Sounds that Australia is a very attractive place to the little ones. For the studying of Chinese, I believe you can handle it no matter where you are.

Candy 講得o岩, 澳洲似乎比較適合bb長大, 空氣好, 環境好, 又可以親近大自然. 但到返來時 Rachel 已經6歲, 一定要 take time 去再次適應香港o既節奏同學習環境. 我唔擔心佢中文能力, 你同你先生都可以教佢, 最多請補習老師, 因為我姐姐三個小朋友o係泰國都係請補習老師教中文, D 國語仲好過我.

萬般帶不走唯有業隨身 多行善事 ~ 多得善果

Thanks, I am still struggling about the situation.

There are too much of the unkown and was quite complicated. My parents are going to apply for a business migration, due to their age problem, there is an urge to be there by mid of 2005.

Why four years? Firstly, my parents don’t speak English and my sister is still studying in Australia (Yr 11 now), therefore I have to be there to run the business until my sister finished her studies. Secondly, I think it is time for me to spend some time together with my parent where we had not for the last 26 years (I left my parent to study in overseas when I was 7 years old, then married to HK). The downside is my husband refuse to settle there. But of course, if my husband changes his mind and the business went well, we will be there for good.

Really so many uncertainty wor. Hope you can make up your mind and plan for everything soon.

有關party, 美麗華酒店jsut called up and asked for any update, I said Sept 5 好似好急, 所以如果有客想要個場就放啦, 至於29號就照hold住先.

至於小朋友價錢, 因為呢個已係特別for kid's party o既package, 所以3歲以上小朋友同大人一樣, no discount.

至於12312 arrange 12號, we can't join as we'll be having holiday at Macau from Sept 10-12 to celebrate Ho Yee & my birthday

但我諗你地就邊日人多ok就算喇, 因為唔可能就哂所有人, 我諗大家都會明白, 所以唔會唔happy o既.
