I joined their course: 幼兒潛能訓練課程 http://www.hkcs.org/edcb/pec/course.htm

這是一項按孩子成長階段而設計的活動課程，內容包括有刺激大肌肉、小肌肉、智能、社交、語言、情緒及自理等能力的活動，由富經驗的專業導師指導父母「了解」嬰孩的特性，「掌握」輔助成長的「技巧」，完成課程之後，家長學會接近30個親子遊戲，而每個遊戲都可為孩子的成長奠定不同能力的發展基礎。

適合對象：6-24個月嬰孩及其一名父母

上課時間：每堂一小時，同組孩子年齡不超過3個月距離，而確實時間則有待
截止報名後才能通知，請在報名表填寫清楚所選擇的日期、時間及地點。

上課形式：6-10家庭單位以小組形式參與，每堂由導師指導3-4個不同活動，
供家長與嬰孩一起進行。

證書：凡完成八堂或以上者可獲出席證書，凡連續參加兩期者，可獲成長
發展報告。

導師資歷：專業幼兒工作員/社工，從事有關幼兒工作五年或以上經驗。

I grouped together with 0504 mama to join the 自由組合班.

HI Cyn,

My son got 尿道炎 when he was 3 month and 4 month old. So we will have regular checking in hospital. Last time when Hei Hei was around 1 year old, we had the regular blood test in hospital. The result found that Hei Hei is "mild 貧血". The doctor said this is very common to BF bb. According to the doctor, this is the main reason lor.

Do you mean this "mild 貧血" related to BF????bf is the main reason?? Just want to know more detail? Would you please .........

REALLY....... Cant belive it is main reason fr BF!!!!

Can you take the 補助品 instead of BB?? do you have 貧血 at all???Let us check check first???

Just Stop BF will improve this case???? Recover all??

SMM told me to prepare liver with Congee to Dingding everyweek. She said bf babies sometimes are lack of iron so she advice me to do so. You may try this. I have prepared pig's liver congee to Dingding since then. As I think the internal organ is very dirty, I will only buy the 生態健美豬 to Dingding. BTW, SMM said we can also buy Chicken's liver (嘉美雞). Just for your reference.

Good morning tingfai,

My Hayes ate Organic rice cereals when he was young or whenever I am lazy to boil so many things 2-3 times a month.

I remember that City-super (BB food counter, such as biscuit, rice cereals & formula) have several organic brands which has "iron-enriched" Organic rice cereals. So, try it!

BTW, when BB attempts solid foods, iron intake actually is quite enough/fine. So don't worry too much!

Now, it is a good season to buy so fresh "Cherry"(rich in iron + vitamins) for BB. Hayes love it very much, eats around 4-5 cherries a day.
He often screams around the house to point the cherry storing box, so funny!!

Can dingding has cherries now? How about watermelon and Ha Mak Kwa? Other than Kiwi, oranges, what other fruit should not give to dingding? Pls advice!

The following is some useful info I searched from web and would like to share with u all.

Iron--According to THE BREASTFEEDING ANSWER BOOK, published by LLLI, the iron in human milk is better absorbed by your baby than is the iron in cow's milk or iron-fortified formula. This means that the quantity of iron in human milk is appropriate for baby instead of the larger quantity in cow's milk. The full-term healthy baby usually has no need of additional iron until about the middle of his first year, around the time he starts taking solids. The high lactose ad vitamin C levels in human milk aid the absorption of iron, and breastfed babies do not lose iron through their bowels.

If there is concern about the baby's iron levels, a simple hemoglobin test can be done in the doctor's office. If necessary, it is easy to offer the baby foods which are naturally rich in iron. However, iron drops and iron-fortified foods sometimes cause digestive upsets when given to babies and can actually reduce the efficiency of iron absorption.

Women are often advised to continue to take prenatal vitamins as long as they are breastfeeding and these vitamins often include a large dose of iron. The iron levels in a mother's milk are not affected by the amount of iron in her diet or by iron supplements she may take.

I don't think I have 貧血. But it seems that we should take vitiamins as long as we are breastfeeding.

The course is $1500 for 10 lessons plus $100 for membership fee.

Unfortunately, Hei Hei doesn't like the taste of 豬潤 congee!

Hi Hayes mama,

I have been to Citysuper in Central, but they don't have iron enriched organic cereal. I find those biscuit only.

Hayes is funny to chasing the cherry.
