我唔同我個仔講英文架, 一來自問英文唔係好, 唔想佢學我d 衰野; 二來我同佢講開中文, 轉語言怕會令佢confused. 唔知我咁諗岩唔岩. 我好唔鍾意有d 呀媽同佢小朋友講半中半英, 好似"我地buy 呢舊pork 啦..."

我有睇果集child of our time. 我本身係揀食既人黎架, 但我知我個仔唔係囉, 因為佢響嬰院咩都食架嘛.

我都做唔到佢唔食就收野食呢個方法. 因為佢本身出世已經係奀仔, 到而加都係, 仲唔比佢食就仲奀. 我以前細個食飯食得慢, 我呀媽會罰我坐無影櫈架. 呢個方法我或者將來都要用下.

呢d港式英文係最衰的, 要講就成句講, 一係就全句講中文, 好似"pork"字, k音唔出又唔好, 出埋又唔順, 因為英文既音域同中文好唔同

i think u all too pamper ur son in home & he recognizes what's authority in nursey only. it's power struggle between child & adult. u can search some writing on it.

I talk with my boy mostly in English.....sometimes Chinese...I don't know if it's good or bad. My mother and husband talk with him in Cantonese only and my maid talks with him in English only. I do hope he can manage two languages.

Oh, bibi is a hot girl and rabbit is so pretty!

bibi, support you!! A better life is waiting for you!

I also do yoga more often than before! Tomorrow will attend forrest yoga and intro flow.

講成句果d 呀媽又唔掂呀! 不過我都唔係幾好, 雖然我響屋企都唔係好講英文, 但我間唔中會講"shxt"... 多數係整錯左野或者跌左野落地時就會好自然咁自己同自己講. 呢兩日發覺我個仔都講呀... 一跌左件玩具落地就講shxt...

Her English is fair! However she will leave very soon...I really want a bun bun with good English. Anyway, the maid still provides an English environment which I think it's good for the baby...

i know the most effective way to learn a language is to listen, speak, write and read more, but having lots of foreigner friends doesn't mean that will improve the written skill. the most important point is that the friend will correct your mistakes. however, jandt and i are talking about the difference between phonetics and phonics, how to pronounce correctly etc. One can communicate easily with a foreigner doesn't mean that he/she pronounce correctly.

我終於記得老師點樣解釋 phonics點樣唔適合唔係英文做母語既小朋友

西人小朋友細細過時, 大人同佢睇故事書(未有字果d) 或日常事物中, 大人會"讀個音"比佢聽, 例如 "island", 佢會記住"呢個樣"個"讀音"係 island, 到小朋友再大小小, 自己睇有字的故事書, phonics 就起到作用了, 當佢見到本書有"呢個樣", 隔離個字係"island", 佢就會分開佢, is, & land, 讀成 is+land既讀音, 再而記起"之前"大人教佢讀"island", 以後就識讀做 "island", phonics 係 for reading

搵西人教英文讀音都未必有用, 好似我地熟識講東話, 但叫你教西人學講東話就大事件, 讀東話有9聲, 我地細細個就學, 大人講乜我地就講乜, 都唔係由硑音學起的, 搵西人教英文讀音, 要搵d本身讀語音學出身的, 由細細過開始教佢讀英文要學 weak form, 當我地知道西人"真正"的"讀法", 和"讀音"係唔同的, 就唔會話西人講得咁快, 我地聽唔切, 其實係西人用weak form, 好多字都唔讀的或用左 linking, 我地當然聽唔到啦
