last day of my holiday in tokyo. really miss my baby, good that we brought our laptop & can view bb via webcam

caught up with my sleep, managed to sleep till 8am every am followed by a relaxing breakfast then shopping.

how about u? started xmas shopping yet?

so busy!! u taken all your annual leave this year? after maternity leave, find it hard to spend my holiday (let my collegue to take leave first after being away for 3 mths), then suddenly is 2nd 1/2 of the year, still have many days.....

need to plan my holidays better next year....

yes we had a great time in tokyo. caught up with my sleep. missed my bb v much la, esp when i saw other mommies pushing babies around in tokyo.saw a lot of babies in tokyo.

glad that we didn't take bb this time, maybe next time to a baby friendly resort with swimming pools & slides etc. but i watched out for baby facilities a lot more this time when i travel. eg i saw there're 2 playroom at narita airport, 1 after immigration & one next to gate 8X.

instead we spent a few days in hk with bb. we took baby to visit his grandparents in the NT. cos they live in a "village house", the floor is not particular clean, it forced my bb to walk a lot more. + there were a few of his cousins age: 2 & 10. it's funny to see how they play, one look after the other....v sweet. my bb kept on copying his cousins.

how about u? anything interesting to share?

Wow. you must hv a lot of fun in Tokyo. my husband always wants to go for a trip w/o bb. but... i really don't want to leave him alone! so we will go to US w/ bb at CNY. at first we planned to go to Hokkaido, but my sis-in-law told us not to bring bb to such a cold place.

last night, we went to my bro's home. we played Wii and put momo in the masterbed (he was sleeping). suddenly, we heard a loud sound. MOMO FELL DOWN FROM THE BED :-( we held it up immediately and he started to cry. his body was shaking and he was crying sooooooooooooooo loud. i hv never heard him crying like that!:-( :-( :-( he must be very frightened. he kept crying for 1/2 hour. luckily, he got a short buidling on his forehead only. i feel so guilty. :-(

i didn't fire my old maid cuz' my new maid didn't pass the health test b4 coming to hk. she got a 14cm "lau" in her "cervix". poor me. i hv to wait for another few months. sigh~~~~ the worst thing is my old maid didn't realize that i'm so disppointed about her. she still thinks my family can't live w/o her!!:tongue:

don't worry. momo should be alright. next time, u may consider putting him on a mattress on the floor instead.

sorry to hear that your new maid didn't pass the health test. your agent seems quite honest. it's not so bad that your current maid still didn't know your plan to get rid of her. otherwise, she may try to do sth bad or even borrow lots of money, etc.

hope u can find a new maid asap.

hi swongsk,

v. busy recently. but seize the time to go outside w/ baby in these two holidays.

been to Tai Po Seaside Park which is quite gd. lots of flowers and baby likes the env't. the place is suggested by grandma. grandma, grandpa and baby had lots of fun there. but better eat before going there becoz the food of the restaurant under the tower in park is v. poor.

also been to Ma Wan joining a birthday party of another BK mum. lots of fun as the clubhouse is v. gd and the family has lots of toys suitable for babies of 1. babies and toddles are all having lots of fun there.

n went to UST (again) for the grassland. baby is learning to walk on the grass. still needs lots of support.

how about your holiday?

yes, i m lucky enough to have my mother & her maid to help me look after my bb. so we can travel troublefree. planning to take bb to travel next summer to visit some relatives in the uk. v worried cos the flight is 12 hr long... not sure if we can handle it. we always want to plan a rehearsal shorthaul trip, but end up going ourselves!!!! but my friend told me 18 mths is hard cos they get v restless??!!! but at least food wise is easier, no need to bring steriliser or he can eat most of the normal food.

don't worry xogogo!! all kids fall out of bed at some point. i think momo cried v loudly mainly out of shock...

sounds like a lot of fun wor. for us, we had family dinner at xmas eve & i stayed home with bb while my husband went out with his friends.

on xmas day, we went for buffet lunch & went to a park. so good now cos lucas likes standing more will walk holding onto a bench + also get used to sitting on grass.

been holding looking after the bb in the holidays & carrying him gave me muscles & this am when i got up, my arms & shoulders were so painful!!! i think he is getting heavier & heavier each day!!!

more family gatherings for new year as a few of our overseas relatives r in town. it's nice to see a lot of the nephews & nieces & how they play with bb.
