How much to hire a skip? We never hired a skip, if too many things to dump, we will separate them and take them to the dump sites in a few goes.

i dont know how much it will cost to hire a skip! but if we really hire one, then i think i gonna dump my bed. and dont think we cant throw it away to the dump site! (btw, i dont know if we have any places for dumping these kinds of furnitures!) thats why i think we have to hire one!

I use brita classic filter jar ja...but hubby thinks the lime scale is not harmful and he is not too bothered to use the filtered water or not but i make sure carlos & myself don't drink directly from the tap.

Calgon is on offer at Sainsbury's (1/3 off!), 好入貨啦!

You can't see how the limescale builds up unless the repair man comes and open it up for you to see ga. It is all around the barrel and at the bottom of the washing machine where the water is hold to do the washing.
So we use Calgon all the time but hubby said we just had a new washing machine so can put less now.

Scotland is soft water...use it to shower and wash hair can really feel the difference ga...move up there la!!!

thanks for bringing up this question! otherwise i thoughtwhole uk is hard water tim! i just checked Surrey is slightly hard tovery hard area...so sad!
about the limescale, i think u can usevinegar+water to dissolve it?? or u can buy the soft water system tochange yr water into soft water too!

is limescale not harmful to body? i just worried if it turn into some kind of stone inside my body ja but i really hv no knowledge about it!

i used to use the automatic boiling pot for ages coz i like the water always ready! i knew it's not good coz the pot wl keep reboiling so at last i changed to kettle last week! still not get used to it coz i need to wait for the boiling water when i want a cup of coffee...

we live in hard water area, but we invested a water softener a few years ago. check it out:http://www.harveysofteners.com/
As Trevor has ezecma , so soft water is more friendly on him. In fact, it is good to use soft water as it never left any white bit on anywhere, also more gentle on our skin.
