One of my friend has a lot of dealing with government doctor (because her son has hearing problem) and she always complaint about them - no patience, not observant, and most of them are just young doctor who lacks experience. It is obviously that the doctor testing Zoe yesterday was not paying a lot of attention. If it is Zachary, I am sure he will just pick up the car and play, and forget about getting the ball for mami....
zeco, a lot of my friends's children do start talking until after 2. They say that the latter they start, the more talkative they are (to catch up woh so don't worry!
I don't know of any children around our baby's age that goes to sleep at 8pm. Even for my Western friends (who tends to sleep earlier than Chinese) don't put their children to sleep until 9pm (and wake up at 6am).
