valerie's hair is now 1.5inches long and it is thicker than before. personally, i do not recommend shaving babies hair unless they are really thin and soft. my in-law is so happy that valerie has think hair now and she thinks it is all because we listened to her and shaved val's hair but i think valerie has my hair, she will still have thick hair without the shaving lor :tongue: :tongue: :tongue:

Finally mini-matt took his 2 shots and a skin test yesterday.. When we laid him down on the table, he seemed so scared and started to scream and cry.. We (me , my husband and the nurse ) held his whole body together. The nurse said he was so strong.. When I heard his wail and looked at his sad eyes, my heart was broken. :-( :-( :-( after the shot, he wouldn't let my husband hold him, cried and pushed him away.. but he immediately stopped going crazy after I held him in my arms and soothed him .. After a while, mini-matt still hated his daddy, his face showed us how disguisting his daddy was .. :tongue: .. At the time ,the nurse and I sandwitched my husband , and mini-matt only could see his daddy holding his arms with the nurse, so mini-matt hated him. .. Fortunately, after he took a nap on the way home, he went back to normal..
We're going back to the ped tomorrow .

We saw the banner from the church with the date of the festival, unfortunately , we will be in SD at the time..
Do you remember the grass in front of my building was dry and died ? my neighbour told me that the manager did it on purpose because he wanted to cover it with the new grass...To be honest, the old one looked good to me .

亞仔初初,放佢入寵,都無乜大反應,因為佢會玩個learning table..但係依家,放得佢耐,佢就唔鍾意,要出嚟行..alex 仔咁痴身, 怕唔怕你睇時會好辛苦呀?
可能mini-matt 由細到大, 都係生活係"媽咪成日上網"既日子, ..所以比佢自由,比佢周圍去explore , 佢就唔會理我, 所以今次打針,佢係都要我抱,唔比daddy 抱,個心,真係好甜..因為平時,佢比daddy 抱,都唔肯我抱架..
exorcism方面,我都有睇過..個d聲,真係聽到我心都寒埋.. 但係我又幾鍾意睇 " most haunted" 咁個d..有時都睇到好緊張...
關於coupon..我老公, 佢之前一路上,都唔會用coupon..係識左我之後,先開始用..唔好話佢,我有另一個美國朋友, 又係唔用coupon 買野, 都係佢個中國朋友提佢咋..不過,我從來,都無係網上面print d coupon 出嚟買野..所以答唔到你..sorry..

I am actually always reading u gals’ messages in the office, but not too convenient to reply… Then when I get back home, I am so sleepy already… I think my energy level decreases like that in the 1st trimester. My hubby also says that I am even more absent-minded than b4 (I was already a VERY absent-minded people… :mrgreen:)
I saw Natalie’s pretty photo la. “You can imagine how hard it is to crawl with a dress on and it gets caught on her knees” I can imagine how interesting if she is to do that with her “let let” voice “duck ga duck ga…”

Your “scary music” is so funny! Let me give u one too: one TV channel is showing the “James Bond 1962-92 entire series” during dinner time now. Some of them are so old that my hubby and I just find them like comedy… One screen showed James Bond spied outside a big house, but couldn’t see anything, so he climbed over the wall and got in. Inside was a swimming pool, with the usual “bikini” beauty swam there. Once Mr Bond saw her, he started to un-button his shirt and wanted to join in!!!!! :mrgreen: ?-( Then the house owner appeared (supposed to be a bad guy I think) and asked him “What are u doing here???” And Mr Bond of course ran away la…..

I support the last name "苖". It sounds quite loyal.

Little Fat Man,

Did Mini-Matt sleep well last night after his shots? Why are you going back to the ped. today ar When Natalie got her shots at 1 yr, my hubby held a book while standing behind her head to distract her and I just hugged her from the front while she's lying down. She didn't start crying until after the 1st shot was administered. The nurses were really quick at her ped's office. For 3 shots, it took less than 30 secs. Afterward, I just pick her up right away and hugged her tight :-( :-( :-(

Hang in there...you're almost at the final stage and begin your maternity leave. Recently, I've noticed Natalie likes to sing along when she hears music. She will sing by saying "na na na na~~~". I'm trying to teach her words of body parts. So far, she only knows how to say "gur gur (feet), and bae bae (nose)"...our next lesson is "haw haw (mouth)

You're such a nice mom to jump into the playpen with Alex. If he really doesn't like it, maybe you can try getting the superyard (similiar to mini-matt's). It's not as "jail" looking as the playpen :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I got Natalie's flower dress at Babiesrus. We actual bought that one for my grandpa's 80th birthday. It was a little big before but now it fits her just right. I love that fabric too...it's like a shaffon :-P :-P The Sam Woo plaza is in Rowland Heights, next time you come, we can go there to eat

因為亞仔今次,係做左 TB skin test 囉..打左落去隻手,要過兩日,先睇到有反應.亞仔今次打左兩次針..一個係MMR , 另一個係chicken pox..
當時我老公一路上都抱住佢架, 到左佢放底亞仔係個table度,mini-matt 立刻周圍望, 佢既眼神,話比我知,佢知道發生緊咩野事,都開始大叫, 係咁反抗,無得分散佢個注意..個護士,佢同亞仔打得,都好快架.又係唔駛三十秒,不過,亞仔郁身郁勢.所以咪要三個人嚟按住佢囉..
不過,話事話, TOUCHWOOD 講句,亞仔打完針,都好似無乜野,食得飲得瞓得痾得玩得攪得笑得叫得走得行得抱得駡得炳得乜都得, 只係唔困得..

我記得我好多年前申請CITIZENSHIP 0個時係GREENCARD住左五年先可入籍。有D人拿左GREENCARD 4年半就入紙APPLY﹐因排到考時會已經5年。現在改左? 或者夫妻申請後再APPLY CITIZENSHIP唔同普通RESIDENT的?

係呀﹐我呀媽個年代﹐醫院叫媽媽們畏奶粉﹐因話奶粉好營養過人奶。但現在醫學昌明﹐有好多SUPPLEMENT可補給VITAMIN A同IRON既不足。不過人奶入面既200-400種抗體就無法有SUPPLEMENT。所以PEDI SUGGEST人奶媽媽食大肚時的維他命。
有時遇著唔肯接受新一代方法的老人家都幾頭痛架﹐所以而家麻目了。HAHA。

hi how are you, the coupon from the magazine, everywhere is accept it lah.. and also, if you go costo, you can combine costo coupon and the manafature coupon together lah.. it save alot, i always do that at BJ, i can save as much as $5 for a box of a diaper.

Why mini-matt need go frequenty to the ped lately? Although I get to bed early, but usually can't get a full sleep a night. Last night, I go to bed before 10pm, after then, my girl upstair to find me, and then, she plays in her and my bed. Although my room was light off, but my girl took some books to read, so I turn on the table light to her. I tried to sleep, but she finished her reading and then go to her bed. I got up to turn off the light and she wants to drink milk and then I went downstair and warm her milk. The time was almost 12am, after she drank, she still have more energy!
If the grass is maintain by the management, you just wait the grass green again. Why do you like the dry grass more?

About the coupon, I cut from the newspaper or ads. I also see some coupon in the online. I think most of store can use. ( if it has bar code) But like the Cosco or Sam Club, I never use coupon. It seems not use in those warehouse store.

About the mooncake, my level has been lower than normal since I move to US. In HK, I only choice "wing wah" white lin yun two with egg yolks. In here, the vietniem's moon cake, I also eat. No way la, only one box bought from store near my former house. Now, we move to LA, it must better, if no "wing wah", I choice " others HK brand law......

Do you know when is "moon festival " ? I think close la, right! :-P

我岩岩尋日看書看到BB第34週生長情況﹐原來係有分離恐懼的﹐仲有會有所謂既怕生保人。平時呀仔唔係訓覺時間放佢落床仔會喊﹐(都未放到﹐剩係打橫抱著放落去個姿勢已經喊)尋日看左書講原來BB都要有心理上的準備先接受到轉變﹐同埋如果開開心心同BB講 BYEBYE先離開BB﹐BB會無噤SAD。今日試左﹐又得窩。

Of course I don't like dead grass.Maybe I should've said more. The manager made the grass dry and die on purpose. Before that, the grass looked so healthy and nice to me .. So I don't think they should waste the money to redo it all over again .. Actually, mini-matt had to take the skin test at his age and the test should be examined 48-72 hours after it is administered . but the new nurse didn't know that , she made our first appointment on last thursday. unforunately, the clinic will be closed on weekend,noone will check the reaction to the area of the injection , that's why we went to the ped again yesterday and let the nurse look mini-matt's arm tomorrow. My husband got mad already because he's extremely busy after the trip. He doesn't really want to spend too much time on mini-matt's checkup..
Do you sleep tight every night ? take more rest as much as you can..

hmmmmm...let me see...nanny 911 係 FOX.逄星期一, 八點至九點..但係我唔知東岸,會唔同.
我覺得nanny 911, 除左當一個show 咁睇之外, 其實我覺得係一個反省既show. 雖然世界上無一個係prefect parent,但係點樣去treat 自己既子女, 適合,有時局內人(父母),真係唔會知道.原來我地咁樣對子女, 係會影响到佢既成長,或導至佢地出現行為問題,如反叛,唔聽教聽話..當我睇完個show..發覺原來每一個小朋友,當做出一些怪行為或不合理既反應,都有佢地自己既目得的..對我日後,點樣管教或同mini-matt 一起生長,有很大既幫助..

I didn't really know that we can use ad coupons at Costco or Sam's club. I thought they only accepted their own coupons. To be honest, I've ever seen the people using the ad coupons at Costco or Sam's club.

照我試過, costco唔收外來coupon 架! 佢只收自己print 嘅coupon.
所有ad 嘅coupon 係可以去supermarket用.. 我次次都keep 起huggies, pampers, gerber, johnson&johnson 啲coupon.. 去pathmark, keyfood, metfood, or any western supermarket, 佢哋都收架, 年中慳番唔少... 我自己又join pathmark advantage club, 買嘢都有discount and coupon攞嚟下次用. 買滿100蚊BB嘢"include everything for baby"(電腦會自己同你count)then, 佢會送US$15 cash coupon for you to use next time..

Why did you use your old name again, Shiba? heee... Did your hot pot ok for cook? Lately, I found out channel 101 - Asiaimage something. They have HK movie with speak cantonese. The show time is always in the night time. It shows about 80 -90's HK movies.

How's your tummy? When is your due date? It must very hard to take care a kid specially you are pregnency. Aren't you work at home too? Did you take the ultrasound? boy or girl?

I like to eat the " Tsui sheung yuen" egg roll, specially inside has white sugar, coconut c . yummy..... but I don't pay attention they have moon cake. It maybe I try this time. Thanks for you suggestion.

You mention the noodle, isn't the " Yeung Chun Noodle", I seem remember this restaurtant. Eat shanghai and peking noodle. Did you try the Japanese buffet in Sam Woo Plaza. We tried once a long time ago, the food ma ma, but we met a wedding party in there. Of course, I 88 to see the bride's dress la. And sometimes, we pass the Sam Woo Seafood restaurtant, we also see some wedding party there. One time, the vietniem people wedding, the guests wear very pretty and they had a long line up to outside door to wait take the photo. Interesting!

hi all,
返來已一星期, 終於everything settle down, 阿囡到hk同返US都有時差問題, first week每晚都會起身1-2hrs才訓返, 好彩呢兩日已回復正常, 如果唔係我就好慘. 阿仔反而就無問題, 佢已開學好開心, 可能係屋企佢仲會覺悶, 見返佢d old friends at school, 真係個個同學仔都大個了好多.

你個女最近如何? 有無食多了solid food? 我個女而家超active, 成日週圍"娟" 同 "較野", 自己玩具就唔玩, 仲開始同哥哥爭野玩, 我覺得佢呢一個月變化大了, 可能係hk more things and people to stimulate her. 另外,你係唔係join 了gymboree? This sat我會帶佢去free class try try, 如果好就join course, 好似聽聞9/6開始加價.
