How are you today?? What function do you have on weekend?? Today I went to an exhibition about craft and stitches, as I love to do "cross-stitches" so I really happy to see a lot of cross-stitches pattern and accessories that makes me crazy

really want to buy all.....

Tomorrow I will go to BBQ, hope the weather is good as today and not so windy la....

You can't apply Medicare card by online as they need to check the immigration that whether you are in Oz or not, then they will issue the card to you immediately, for example: if you arrive to Mel. on 1/8/07, you cannot go to Medicare office to apply the "card" on 2/8/07 as they haven't had your information transfer from
immigration, you need to wait ~7-10 days, you can fill the form and prepare the document (passport and statement of address), then you can directly go to the office on ~8/8/07, if they have your information from immigration, they will issue a temporary one for you immediately and you can use it at once.

Actually, When will you come to Mel?? If you come at ~32-34 weeks of gestation, you still have time to book the A/N check-up in Box Hill Hospial or other hospital, at least, I haven't heard anyone in here said that "if the hospial are fully booked then they reject someone in booking A/N check-up". Is it ok for you to come at ~32-34 weeks of gestation??

我依家正嘗試為在oz的生活做budgeting,想試吓work out 一家三口的weekly spending。
這些只是我粗略的估計，可能有d不切實際，希望正在oz居住的媽咪俾d意見。

I've found a very good Australian website, their patterns are great. I bought the Sunflower pattern (the picture above "Artists") right before I found out I was pregnant. Devlin 爸 said I shouldn't do such 傷神 work as I was suffering from very bad nausea almost throughout my pregnancy. So I put it aside and till now, I still can't find the time to start doing it. May be not until Devlin goes to school!

呢度最大既電訊公司有telstra同optus,多數家居上網+電話plan or homephone + mobile plan有優惠,好視乎你既用量,plan太多.個人覺得呢度plan比hk貴,我用緊telstra,上網都要au$3x/mth(unlimited)(仲已經係簽左約所以頭半年半價),可以分別上呢2間公司website去參考d電訊收費.(包括mobile plan)
電既bill收費請看electricity
水bill收費請看water bill
生活費其實好因人而異,每個家庭飲食習慣不同,加上呢度既所有野,包括食物,日用品....都係海鮮價,真係日日不同,即使同一間supermarket,唔同地區既價都會有出入.你要日日活在格價中,因為一減價起碼差20%.唔同地點也有影響, 一般街一定貴d,要去有唐人or越南人聚居既地區,如boxhill,richmond咁就會平多d. 只可供參考既係菜同生果特別貴(尤其是同hk比),好多種菜都要au$2-6/kg不等,豆類最貴,十幾元/kg tim.今日見到超市賣龍眼,差不多au$7/kg,d人已經圍住搶(特別多唐人),比起hk or 大陸,hk$10/3LB 都搵到啦!!肉類以雞最平,boxhill有au$5/2kg既雞亦,也有$2/隻煲湯雞.今日既豬展要$5.99/kg,牛同羊比較其他主要肉貴.海鮮更加.
呢度大部分人既早餐同午餐都係好簡單,有人只係食包,有人只係食生果,因人喜好,麵包在超市買大約au$2.2/條(650-680g一條),雞蛋要$2.x/doz(視乎大小),如果係食市買個好簡單既飯盒都怕要$9-10.
呢度transportation多數係自己揸車,那主要係油錢,又係海鮮價,日日不同既.

係呀,camberwell high都係我附近區,但唔記得屋企過左校網未,所以佢都係我後備學校囉.
medicare因為有好多野無包到,例如睇牙,cool牙,睇眼....最貴最主要係救護車(有咩大件急事起來,call完之後就續樣計,好金),加上某些policy,令到大部分oz人都會買多份私人保險.其實都只係買個保障,無事發生呢筆錢就係有少少多餘.部分私人保險甚至有school accident,好岩多小朋友讀緊書既.其實私人保險只係比medicare更全面而且保埋佢唔保既野囉!!

係公校泥嫁.我地原本打算1月尾前買,不過我老公又唔係好捨得比筆錢......所以拖到依家都.......未買....haha

你唔好話自己無用失敗,你係好偉大既mummy先岩,起碼你會同仔女唸供佢地去外國讀書,仲要一個帶住佢地,已經付出同犠牲好多.
