As I've said, never been Beijing b4 and have bad impression (being a Communist country without any freedom). But in fact, it's pretty good. Food are awesome and inexpensive and worth every penny. Queue jumping isn't as serious as in Guangzhou.

For clothes, all you need is Columbia or North Face jacket, u know, the one that comes with shell and fleece (cost around $1,500 - 1,100), rather than 羽絨.
