Apart from the book costs, what are the charges ? (per item, per lot, etc postage ?

Cost I never quite know how to calc.

Actually I'm interested in ALL the books you found, MINUS the Murderous Maths book (the 1st one on your list). But not sure how much each is after adding shipping plus per order etc costs.

And do you think Synergy will have them ? If so maybe their less 40% might be cheaper ??

make sure of my sick leave and finally sort out all the barcode. Luckily we got just 1 set out of the 35 minifigs we bought. Most Duplicated: 5x nija(no.12), 3x (no. 13, 14, 15). We want more magician (no. 9) & no.10 instead

There should be a Seven schoolbag-backpag shop somewhere in LA. Not sure if its much cheaper.
Should ask TTM for LA shopping info.

I only know there is an outlet area called Gilroy somewhere between LA and SF, good shopping there and a lot of $$ savings. Try to go there.

Good buys from Gilroy :
GAP
Polo (incl bed linen, you can't imagine how cheap it is there, couldn't control myself haha)
Osh Kosh
Coach
Carbtree & E

Go online and find the Gilroy website la.

There is also 1 biggish shopping mall before you get to L-land, I'm sure shopping there is good too.

For the others, can get vvv good cotton undies for adults and kids eg Hanes from either Hanes shops or Target (supermarket / near warehouse level plus some basic wear and electronics).

R you going to San Diego (zoo, marine world) too ? Should go woh.

For L-land, sometimes the L shops outside offer better discounts / gifts. But some items are exclusive to L-land.
Bring spare clothes for the kids in L-land, lots of water games if you allow them to play, but should be accompanied by adult. Also bring lots of sunblock, the sun in LA is v fierce.

If you're thinking about buying Lego online and have them shipped to your LA friend first, by all means. Saves all the carrying, then you can just concentrate on the games in L-land and have fun, plus buying pick-a-brick from the shops there. Not really worthwhile to buy sets in L-land unless they are 50% off.

Depends whether you need binding or not.
For most pages, there are 2 to a page, usually double-sided, to use less paper. But in some cases they are 1 to a page, so may need to shrink first.

If you need 1 set to make more copies, then I had better let you have 1 set without binding.

Up to you, let me know what format you need, and I will let you know the $$$. Biinding alone = $4.4@.

I think you still need to buy some other material, eg books, workbooks. Depends on your theory teacher. TL offers less 10% for buying $200+ with some credit cards (HSBC, Hang Seng, ...).

well, if you are not going to Singapore, you might not get a better price.
Buy more in singapore then you can have a lower average price

Pick-a-brick = you can choose lego bricks, cost = by weight, or by cup (fill a cup of lego bricks from a whole wall of bricks). Can find in Lego shops and in L-land. A lot of colours / variety to choose from.

You had better start to look at the websites of companies which you may buy from, esp those you can buy online. If you find them on sale, quite good idea to buy online and have them delivered to your friend's place cos you don't need to carry from shop to home.
