The frequent questions in the Kindergarten interview
生活經驗 (Life Experience)
你的名字是什麽?今年幾多歲? 你的家在哪兒?
What’s your name? How old are you? Where do you live?
指著父母,問是誰人?或誰人帶你來學校?家中有幾多人?
Point to the parent and ask who they are? Who bring you to the school? How many members in your family?
平日在家會做什麽?星期日一家人有什麽活動?
What do you do at home on weekday? What do you family do on Sunday?
你喜歡什麽食物?
Which food do you like?
你乘什麽交通工具來學校?
Which vehicle you took to school?
有沒有去過公園?在公園會看見什麽?
Have you go to park? What did you find in the park?
基本概念 (Basic Concept)
考形狀概念,例如利用玩具,叫小朋友把不同形狀放在適當的位置上;或請小朋友找出指定形狀的積木;或展示不同形狀的紙卡,請小朋友作配對。
Shape concept. Examples,
(1) Put/ insert the corresponding shapes on/ into the appropriated place of a toy.
(2) Find the requested shape from the blocks.
(3) Match the cards in different shape.
考顔色概念,例如展示顔色卡,請小朋友在一堆玩具中找出同色的;或請小朋友找出指定顔色的積木;或展示圖畫,指出其中一種顔色問是什麽色。
Color Concept. Examples,
(1) Display a color card and match the toy(s) with the same color.
(2) Find out the block(s) with requested color.
(3) Tell the color on a picture.
考大小概念,例如請小朋友把大中小的波,透過相同體積的洞放入盒中;或請小朋友把大小不同的玩具作排列。
Size concept. Examples,
(1) Insert the balls in different sizes into the corresponding holes of a box.
(2) Sort the toys in different sizes into the ascending or descending order.
考數字概念,例如展示數字卡,請小朋友認數字,或展示圖書,問圖中有幾多條魚。
Numeric concept. Examples,
(1) Recognize the number on the card.
(2) Count the fish on the book.
考英文,例如認字母,或用英文讀出數字。
English language. Examples,
(1) Recognize the alphabet.
(2) Read numbers in English.
生活常識 (Life Knowledge)
展示動物圖畫,指著其中兩、三種,例如大象、小兔,問是什麽?
Tell the names of two or three animals on the picture, e.g. elephant, rabbit.
展示水果圖畫,指著其中兩、三種,例如香蕉、提子,問是什麽?
Tell the names of two or three fruits on the picture, e.g. banana, grapes.
展示食物圖畫,指著其中兩、三種,例如鮮奶、麵包,問是什麽?
Tell the names of two or three foods on the picture, e.g. milk, bread.
讓小朋友玩玩具車,然後問是什麽,可以在哪裏見到?
Play the car toy and ask what it is, where he/she find it.
展示男孩子和女孩的圖畫,問誰是男,誰是女?
Display the boy and girl pictures and recognize who is boy or girl.
讓小朋友玩玩具電話,然後問是什麽及用途?
Play the phone toy and ask what it is, what the purpose is for.
利用公仔,請小朋友示範牙刷、毛巾或梳子的用途。
Demonstrate by using the doll the purpose of teeth brush, hair comb or brush, towel… etc
情緒反應 (Emotional Reaction)
讓一班小朋友一起玩玩具,從旁觀察是否有禮貌,能否控制情緒,或能否與人和睦相處。
Let the kid to play together with the child, and observe if he/she is polite, if he/she is able to control the emotion, if he/she is able to smoke the calumet together.
指定小朋友玩其中一種玩具,或請小朋友收拾玩具、觀察是否服從指示。
Test the obedience by ordering to play a particular toy, or clean up the toys
叫小朋友的名字,或在他面前跌下東西,觀看他的反應。
Observe the kid’s reaction by calling his/her name, or drop anything in front of him/her.
基本能力 (Basic Ability)
讓小朋友砌積木,或穿珠仔,測試手眼協調的能力。
Test if the kid is able to operate the eyes and hands in line by terracing the blocks or stringing the beads.
讓小朋友與家長一起玩玩具,從旁細聽對話,以了解幼兒的説話能力。
Let the kid to play with his/her parent, observe their conversation to understand his/her talking ability.
展示圖畫,例如小孩子在游泳、打波,請小朋友描述内容,測試理解和表達能力。
Display a picture on which a boy is swimming or kicking a ball, ask the kid to describe the content of the picture in order to test his/her intellect and the ability of expression.
提供簡單砌圖(通常分割成4-6塊),請小朋友重新組合,並說出完成的圖案是什麽,測試組織能力。
Ask the kid to complete a simple puzzle (normally with 4~6 pcs), and tell the picture on it in order to test his/her organizational ability.
展示一幅圖畫,例如有4個穿著校服的小孩,和4個沒有穿的,請小朋友指出不同的一個,測試觀察力。
Display a picture on which there are 4 boys wearing school uniform but 4 not, ask the kid to point out the difference in order to test his/her ability of observation.
考家長 (Parent)
平日小朋友由誰照顧?每日用多少時間陪子女?一家人在假期有何活動?小朋友喜歡什麽食物?
Who takes care of the kid daily? How many hours do you accompany the kid per day? What kind is the leisure activity on Sunday or holiday? Which food does the kids like?
幼兒何時開始説話和走路?能否自行進食或上廁所?
When did the kid start to walk and speak? Can he/she eat himself/herself? Can he/she go to toilet himself/herself?
觀察當小朋友遊戲時表現不當,例如搶人玩具或哭鬧,家長會如何處理。
Observe the parent how to handle the scenario in case their kid acts improper when playing with others, e.g. get the toys from another one without his consent or cry.
爲什麽選擇這所學校?
Why the parent choose the school?
平日如何教子女?怎樣教育子女纔是好的?
How do the parent teach their kid at home daily? What is their educational approach?
