if u don't ve time to train, it's not so gd to hire a "white paper".

but honestly, if u r the employer, and if the maid is gd, would u prefer taking risk to hire a new one to save the long service money? mindful that the cost of firing maid and finding replacement is not small.

"white paper" may not be bad. but better find a "white paper" at least ve some overseas exp. like singapore or taiwan.

hope u can find a maid as gd as your current one :)

thx bakusensei. i think i will go for the more experienced one. cos i had a more extensive search, saw a few overseas candidates with taiwan/singapore experience. not much choice + a lot of them r quite jumpy. so will go for the older one longing for stability.

v. busy recently. got sick and need to bring work home on holiday too. thus didn't go to any special place. but husband brought baby to toyrxxxx. he found that place is a v. gd place to practice walking becoz the items there are so attractive. baby kept walking from one shelf to another. stayed, played for a few mintues and then walked towards another. could spend more than an hr there. in this cold weather, it's a perfect place to exhaust his energy :p

toysrus, good idea wor. we took lucas to fortress to look at some appliances. he was so excited, so many buttons to press. he kept inspecting washing machines one by one, so funny!!

Happy new year to all of you.:喜:

i just came back from US last nite. i'm now in school la. sooooooooooo tired.

momo is soooooo naughty days by days. he kept walking and touching everything he saw. he is sooooooo curious about everything. he starts talking a lot too, sometimes singing too. all my relatives said he grows a lot during the trip.
i was so busy in preparing his milk bottles and food. he didn't drink a lot and he didn't like to eat the bb food either. so he gets lighter than b4. sigh:cry:" /> sometimes, since we didn't have choices, i fed him some adult food.

my husband and i need to re-plan about our summer trip to japan cuz' we may not bring him w/ us. hahahaha

welcome back xogogo! which part of US did you go? how was the flight?

we have problem feeding lucas now. he doesn't like eating as much as before. he will just get enough & then want to leave & play.

will be going to japan in early march, skiing with friends. still not taking bb.... maybe we will just do a trial trip to macau first.....

we went to San Fran and Vagas. momo behaved quite well on the flight. he didn't cry. but on the return flight, someone was coughing a lot. he didn't wear any masks either. so momo is sick today getting coughing and fever. bad bad bad!!!!

m sorry to hear that momo is sick. lucas got a runny nose & a little cough last week, but so many kids are sick in PG.

wow, momo been to vegas!! he's so lucky!! so u did a lot of baby shopping in the states? any thing good to buy there?

it is freezing. no wonder so many ppl (not only bb) are sick.

the bb clothing is extremely cheap in the states. we went to bb gap and babyrus. sooooooo big and sooooooo many bb items. i got crazy. bb are so lucky in the states. it seems that they can get cheap clothing (but in a good quality) and cheap schooling too. but in hk, most bb items are quite expensive.

yes, i'd love to go to the states to baby shop. hk is not a good place to raise kids la, no room to play, look at the school & flats in hk!!
