The doctor has also suggested the "WET WRAP" to me.
May I know how old is your little boy 1st got the "WET WRAP" treatment?
Will the public hospital supply you the "WET WRAP" material to take home(if yes, may I know how much)? or need to admit hospital every time when "WET WRAP" Do the hospital teach you how to use the method?
Many Thanks!

Dear bb0809,
My BB also have same case as your BB but our paed referrred us to see derma and allergist instead of admitting to the hosp. I was very worry too cause his face, arms and legs have water ...
It's really busy to take care of two children so that I usually read the message rather than leaving message. Thanks for God giving me a good agency and a good maid . She is helpful. And how about you? Why not recruit? Is it OK for your daughter? You can call me if you are free?

hi ann,
long time no see la
you should be very busy now. I still have not yet recruit any maid. How's your maid? good or not?
bb0809,
My son was given wet wrap treatment when he was 6 months. We stayed at hospital for one day and the nurse demonstrated how to do. Then we were given medicine to do it at home for two weeks. Besides, my son in 1 year old had skin test at hospital. I think you try to keep positive attitude and take it easier. In my experience, it is challenge to take care of an ezcema baby. Keep patience and go for it. You can find out the appropriate methods to your baby finally.
I had no time to recruit maid because of a family matter and I was busy in searching kinder for my daughter in the past few months. My daughter seems better than before because she is less itching at night.
I will start to recruit a maid and hope that I can find a good maid.

Dear iadalovebb,
It's really busy to take care of two children so that I usually read the message rather than leaving message. Thanks for God giving me a good agency and a good maid . She is helpful. ...
My son was 13mths the first time we wet wrap him continuously for 2 weeks (8-10hrs/day) and continued to wet wrap at least 2 days/wk for another 5 mths because the severe eczema still came back. However, he feels comfortable when wet wrap and less itchy.
I don't think the public hosp will supply for bandages for wet wrap, but they'll give you the steroid (elomet + emulsifying oint/ aq cream). You can ask them where you can purchase. They'll teach you how to do it...we didn't have to be hospitalize.
Don't worry, as your bb grows bigger, it'll be better, but it is an endless battle. In the past 2 days, my BB ecz flared up again and he's scratching scratching scratching... i'll do wet wrap again (stopped 4 mths) if serious again to keep him from scratching to infection (he had 2x infection before and the water coming from his face and behind ears lasted almost 6 mths...it was a nightmare..but i hope this is the history!!) We all +oil +oil la!!
