Will u go to SW Baby Buddies open day? When?
I might go there on Mar 25.

o. that one is in TW. husband said to train the maid up to bring baby to classes. no need to cross the road. centre is recommended by a classmate of parent class in Little Mont. quite gd.

for hk side, u may consider Kindermusik by Catherixx in Central. quite famous n w/ many ppl's recommendation. said to be the best in hk.

hi hi

just want to see how's your easter holiday.

i took bb to the park yesterday. he's v interested in the grown up kids activities eg BMX bikes & basketball. he was leaning against the "iron net" to watch kids playing basketball. i can see from his face that he really wanted to join. just can't believe it, 15 mths ago he was only a baby!!!!

my maid left for philippines for 3 weeks. lucas really misses his nanny. he had a cough & cold so refused to eat solid food. had to feed him milk while he's 1/2 asleep... sigh.... i miss my maid too. hopefully she will come back....

how r u all? hope everyone is well. :loveliness:

due to the flu, we did not go to crowded place, just visited the park nearby and porpor's home.
can lucas talk now? Yat Hei cannot talk much, except bus, aeroplane, 包包, ball... so i'm thinking if he can attend the interview for K1 by end of this yr. in fact, i'm now more inclined to let him be big boy coz he's still a baby in my eyes. maybe he can be more confident in studying as a big boy. what's your view?
hope that your maid will be back... will u ask her to have bodycheck when she's back?

still not sure yet, cos my maid is on leave in the philippines. she may not come back due to some family problems. will target to start baby buddy in may maybe, depending on the maid situation.

apart from the size, what do you think of the center? is bryan going to victoria pn this year?

hi swongsk, wingsze and other working mums,

we went to UST, beach, and also OP during the easter holiday. full of fun. baby likes playing with the sand v. much.

swongsk, hope your baby recover soon.

wingsze, don't worry too much about interviews. let it be. Last month, baby went to a kinder nearby for interview. can't believe that he could identify the pictures and did those sorting task. Two months before, he didn't cooperate in another interview. thus, it all depends on baby's mood and we really can't do much to help. just take this as an experience / school visit :)

always think big kid should be better in terms of confidence and interest to learn, particularly for boys. the learning yrs are so long and there's no need to rush to work, right? let them enjoy the learning life and develop interest in learning. this "additional" year is worth to "spend". :)

hi wingsze - long time no chat. lucas is a v active baby, explorer, he is afraid of stranger, so he doesn't like talking much. he talks mainly to us eg mama, aiya, mair-ar, or-o....

we will be sending lucas to pre-nursery this year, with the objective for him to go out & play. will see how it goes this year, if it's ok, will move on to K1 if not will repeat a year. but anything is better than running around the house all day & watching the maid to do housework.

baby buddy: according to the lady i met @sw centre, the programs both in th & sw are the same. want to c how the instructor do with the kids. is she friendly? enjoy playing w/kids.... will take a trial class @sw centre.

victoria: didn't apply pre-nur, but applied playgroup since bryan 10 mths. until now, still on waiting list. want bryan to be a big boy. sourcing playgroups for him to go.

any mums here know kiangsu-chekiang kindergarten. any comment?

Hi all, long time no chat.

We took bb to the beach too. He loved playing w/ the sand and water. so funny. We planned to take him to the strawberry farm this week, but i think we won't go due to the bad weather. sigh~~~

have u mums heard about casa dei bambini? any comments?

I ve friend's kids studying in kiangsu-chekiang kindergarten and graduated from there too. comment is v. gd. gd in language development and disciplince (not so free when compare with IS).

a gd choice in the island side.

yet, mindful that if u plan to go to esf for primary. chances r v. slim. the kid just graduated from kiangsu-chekiang kindergarten even didn't get a chance to ve an interview.

casa is a Mont kinder. r u planing to go for Mont education? if not, may not be so easy to adapt the traditional primary school later on.

heard the school is gd if u buy the Mont concept. actually, i ve thought of sending baby there but can't solve the logistics problem. probably ve to take taxi from Central/HK station. n whether u can get a taxi back is an issue. can't risk asking the maid to take baby there.

hi bakusensei,

i buy the mont. approach, but i'm too lazy to apply it in the daily life (excuse! hahahaha). i don't force myself to stick on any particular approaches, cuz' i believe that every approach has its pros and cons. i will try to see which one best fits bb.

i hv attended the workshop last month. and start thinking about sending momo to CDB. my target school is IS, hopefully the transition won't be a big problem (but it is still too early to say so).

before going to CDB (in sept), i will enrol momo to best concept in kln tong first (when he is 18 months). see how it works. probably i will drop TT in May lu.

BC's Kln Tong centre is a bit far away from the station. yet, still no need to cross the road, right?

a few months ago read that the centre's instructor is gd in mandarin but eng. not so gd. but can't remember where i read it.

Hi, All .....

Realy long long time no chat la, miss you very much .....

Liev had an accident in mid Mar, he bit his tongue when jumping in the bb bed ....... need operation ....... stayed one night in hospital ...... seems recover now ........ well, we planned a macau trip during easter of which needed to be cancelled, bad mood for the rainy day and just stayed home for getting more rest for both of us ...... been to sai kung for bbq birthday party for my sis's gal ..........

Liev is a really talkative baby now ...... seems the accident won't have any effect to him, thanks god ......

Yes, BC is far away from MTR station. but i can pick him up after school. i will visit the school this friday. heard that the waitlist is quite long in BC. sigh~~~~
