DuJun: 美ST readers, I think most of you won't know us but I wish you will gain some interest in us with our review here, and through that your life might be more enjoyable (laugh). Thank you.
Q. The gap between your normal atmosphere and the powerful show on stage is charming.
JunHyung: Even if it's an important concert, we don't try to think too much of it. Because we get on stage as one member of a team, I think it's necessary to leave our self behind for a moment and put the team first.
GiKwang: Because we each have a role, a responsibility.
HyunSeung: I think that the potential in oneself will create a power on stage.
Q. When does your switch (energy) get turned on?
HyunSeung: On the corridor from the waiting room to the stage.
YoSeop: I play around with the members in the waiting room because I don't think it's good to keep quiet (while waiting). But on stage, I am very strict to myself.
DongWoon: YoSeobie hyung is normally cute but on stage he turns sexy (laughs).
DuJun: I think when we do image training and the six of us get together to shout "fighting!", that's when we become BEAST.
Q. JunHyung makes the songs and they're all good songs.
JunHyung: Ah, thank you.
YoSeop: The songs JunHyung makes are good but the lyrics are literally beautiful. That's why like seasoning, I concentrate on singing it well so the music can become more alive.
Q. GiKwang also composes and write lyrics.
GiKwang: I'm trying to make a song that many people can easily sympathize with. Love is something that you can't take out from human.
All: Wow~~!
GiKwang: (laughs) I wish to express the emotions and love between a man and woman well. Writing lyrics is similar to drawing a picture, as it can happen to myself, be easy to imagine, or think about if I was the song's main character.
Q. You're in your 6th year since debut in Korea.
DongWoon: We're doing our best right now too (laughs). New singers are debuting so we wish to put in more effort so that we won't lose (to them).
DuJun: I think we need to look back and have time to think as a bit of time has passed for us and we can think about things with some time spare.
GiKwang: Being able to self-produce is also our pride. I think being able to sing songs and choreograph to the dance we wish to dance by respecting each other's opinions, being one at heart and enjoy on stage is our strength. Because we think there are still stairs that we can walk up more, we wish to do our best in all areas.
Q. Any other last comments?
DuJun: No, most of us are quiet/reserved so, I think this is good (laughs)
YOON DUJUN
BEAST's leader with a mature atmosphere who answered all type of questions intensely and calmly. Skilled in football which he played since he was a student. The main role for the drama <Let's Eat Season 2> and also for the first season.
"Because it's what I've been given to do, I'm acting with the thought of doing my best. Because I'm not with my members, I feel more responsibility but I'm acting while enjoying it."
Q. If you could change?
"Doraemon. I've always thought about it since I was little."
Born in July 4, 1989. Blood type A. With his good/decent look, active as an actor by performing as the serious role in <Iris 2> and the love comedy <Let's Eat>. Currently called as the #1 idol girls wish to have as a boyfriend.
JANG HYUNSEUNG
Has an independent mind and consideration, normally quiet but on stage his power is amazing. Before a concert he is the same like normal.
"I listen to music I like or just relax."
Received good comments from his musical and unit "Trouble Maker."
"I don't want to put a limit to myself. To show my musical talents, I wish to challenge myself by searching for various possibilities."
Q. If you could change?
"Uh oh, I've been thinking about it for a while but I don't know" (at the end of the interview).
Born in September 3, 1989. Blood type B. His passionate dance and vocal is popular. Performed in the musical <Mozart>, <Bonnie & Clyde> and as "Trouble Maker" with 4Minute's HyunAh.
YONG JUNHYUNG
In charge of the rap and vocal. Created a composing unit "Good Life" with his high school friend Kim TaeJoo and compose, write lyrics, produces. Recently he opened a cafe called "Cafe The Med".
"I personally like cafes. I opened the cafe because I wanted to drink free coffee (laughs)."
Q. If you could change?
"The dog that I used to take care of grew (big) so he's at a house with a garden. Right now I have a puppy named Silva/Silba at home, and I want to be that puppy."
Born in December 19, 1989. Blood type O.
"Being confident in BEAST's song and that I don't have to be naturally worried about singing it live is the advantage."
Awarded the rookie award in acting with his first main role drama "Monstar".
YANG YOSEOP
BEAST's main vocal. His beautiful and powerful high tones are his charms. Strict on protecting his voice. He captures the fans' hearts and doesn't let go of it with his cute face and love for them. Boxing is his hobby.
"I've become healthy. I'v gained strength so I'm feeling the workout effect on stage. I've also been able to keep hold of myself mentally. Till now I didn't have a hobby so I didn't know how to release my stress."

"My pet dog Yanggaengie."
Born in January 5, 1990. Blood type B. Took over the music charts #1 in Korea with his solo activity. Received high reviews on his singing and expression by performing consecutively in the musicals <Zorro> and <Robin Hood>.
LEE GIKWANG
His friendly smiling face is the best. Has a reputation for his dance movements. Was the first to do individual activities among BEAST as MC and actor.
"I feel a bit pressured if I see myself as one person Lee GiKwang as everything is myself. I think that I need to put an effort in all aspects. But, this is only from the point of view when I'm doing my job but normally I'm no different. Normally I'm just 'me'.

"What would be good...... I want to be the middle school me."
Born in March 30, 1990. Blood type A. Has a lovely smile and trained body. Was the main MC in an entertainment program and was an actor in the drama <My Princess>. His idiom in self-composing is dramatic.
SON DONGWOON
Was the DJ on the Korean music site "MelOn". A sincere youth who doesn't forget to practice his vocalization even in the waiting room. He lived up to his Japanese skills without any help from translators by saying that they're planning to promote actively in Japan. "I thought that it was hard to express our hearts to Japanese fans because of the language barrier but we're very happy for loving us. I wish to challenge myself to Japanese TV shows or radio"

"I'm satisfied with myself."
Born in June 6, 1991. Blood type A. The youngest in BEAST and with his fluent Japanese, he can converse and write the script for concerts in Japan, leading the Japanese promotions. He can also speak in English and Mandarin (4 languages). Playing the piano is his specialty.
