no to worry too much,
if she can eat and sleep, its a good sign already and am sure she will put on weigh

my boy can now drink 7oz

and the most important part is that he can sleep for more than 8hrs at night without feed

so that I can enjoy my beauty sleep

last night was the first time he sleep on his own cot till 5am this morning without making any noise ~(but have to sleep with me from 5am to 830am

I don't put extra salt as there is already some salt in the cajun mix and I find it quite salty.

我覺得BB未識爬個陣湊得最舒服, 唔駛驚佢攪野, 我自己可以係屋企做咩都得, 開始爬就煩喇...有時真係唔知好嬲定好笑, 個陣我成日係張梳妝枱度搽cream, 有日我個女爬上去倒哂我D護膚品出黎學我係度搽cream

How did the banana bread go?
We usually go to the church on sunday mornings but we haven't been for some time...
I went to see a friend with Carlos this afternoon. She lives 10 mins on foot from where I live but we haven't seen each other for nearly 6 months! Last time we went, Carlos was crying non-stop as he was not used to noise ~ her house is always full of people (she has 4 kids and her cousin and some friends are usually around on weekends). This time is a little better as when we arrived, there weren't many people and we talked by the door a bit before going in. Carlos was still shy & only wanted to sit still with me. Her 2-year-old boy was trying to cheer him up with some toys but he got scared and

. However, there were moments when he enjoyed himself la: having yoghurt, crisps & biscuits (always food!). Later on, my friend's cousin came with her boy (who is only 4 days older than Carlos) but they didn't have time to play with each other as Carlos started getting tired and we have to go home & give him a feed. Anyway, it was nice to see my friends & I do hope to see them more often (whether I can make it...I don't know).
Yes, Carlos is a 30week6day premature baby but thank God he hasn't got much complications. He was small and looked very skinny during the first 2-3months. Now, his weight catches up very well and I think he is in the 50 percentile (a medium size BB?) I am also rather happy that his developments have caught up since last month. We see him doing new things every couple of days: standing up, bouncing, cruising, finger food, shaking head...but of course, more to worry about as he is getting so active...

I know a lot of premature babies, they were small ...

Here is like that. When I was pregnant, the midwife/GP never weigh me during maternity check up. They only listened to the baby's heart beat and press my tummy. For scan, it was only twice and some blood tests, that is.
During birth, there is only 1 midwife but some are outside the room (stand by I think). They will only call the doctor if there is a problem!

I just think if they didn't weigh me, I just weigh myself lor.

Did they give you a bag at hospital? (quite a big plastic bag, if so, that is.) If you haven't been given a bag at hospital, the chance is you haven't got the bounty pack.

The banana bread didn't look very pretty but tasted quite good. I will keep practising and will make it again. Next time maybe chocolate bread or cheery cake?!
When I make those dessert, I cannot put egg because my son is seriously allergic to egg. If he has eaten egg, his body will get swollen. I found out when he was 7 months old (they said baby can eat egg at 6 months). And he was swollen, I took him to the doctor and the doctor said he is allergic to egg!!!

He had an allergy test last year and showed that he is still allergic to egg. So we had to be very careful when handling egg at home.

On his birthday next month, we will have to bake a cake without egg again!

It is good that you brought Carlos to play with some little friends. So he can interact with others. Are you catholic as you said you went to church.

Will you get Carlos baptist and put him to a catholic school?

Very good girl!

Sorry I haven't revised the previous notes. Was Imogen born premature? Are you still breastfeeding? I found breastfeeding baby can absorb the nutrients more easily and thus can put on weight easily.
