係吖, 我盡量都叫佢自己瞓, 佢喊一陣就再入房安撫佢囉, 不過我老公認為佢可能大咗需要陪瞓嘅情形同baby時唔同, 如果唔係咩叫做bedtime story喎

我梗係唔想再"陪瞓"好晒時間嘛! 希望佢如你所講快快趣自己瞓唔使 :-( 啦!

講開HKID, 我老公佢係約10年前都可以攞到HKID, 因為果時仲可以批準d人如父母係HK出世就得, 不過我老公個HKID card係(P)字頭, 但有3粒星

到佢細佬隔咗幾年後就唔批lu

CSU is California State University, it's still owned by the government but the tuitions are cheaper than UC (Univerisity of California). USC is private and it's about $40K annually cost now. I think USC is the most expensive, than UC is next, than CSU being the cheapest. We also have junior colleges which provides AA degree that are much much cheaper :lol: :lol:...but the standard of admissions are much lower than 4 year colleges.

Babygigi,

Natalie used to like rice cereal more than congee. As Ryan gets older, you'll realized he will prefer congee more cuz it's more flavorful. Now, Natalie's favorite is "bo jai rice"...cuz the soysauce makes it so tasty. I didn't give her any fish until after she turned 1. We would give her steam tilapia with rice or just get the fish juice and make congee with it :-P :-P :-P For the convertible carseat, we bought the Britax Decathlon for Natalie and so far we are very happy with it. I didn't like the boulevard cuz it didn't look so good...too dark. The Decathlon is pastel purple/gray so it matched better with our SUV.

我上次幫B女剪頭髮時, 剩係剪前面囉, 所以襯佢睇緊電視就係到剪, 不過剪到一忽忽, 老公話你唔係幫佢剪前面平個種咩? 我話係佢前面剪, 咁佢咪見到把較剪, 咁我仲邊剪到???

你個仔病咗咁耐呀? 陰公... 而家好返咪好囉, 佢返nursery應該好易適應, 係咪? 咁多小朋友一齊玩喎..??

How are u? Long time no chat la! My tummy is just BIG now and my baby sometimes plays with my stomach and it hurts :-( :-( :-( (Just like NOW... and nothing can be done :-( ) Sometimes I am like u, want bb to come out earlier, but on the other hand, Oct is really a good timing for many things... so better ask my baby to keep that schedule!

卓盈 is a beautiful name, sounds very girlish and "c mun". We thought of Natalie's English name first. Her full name is Natalie Lauren Cheng and her chinese name is "Cheng Lok Yee (Happy Baby)". I honestly believe you won't need the bassinet for too long, if you want to buy something smaller, maybe a playpen will do for the first 4 months. The baby can also play in it later.

If you didn't mention it, I wouldn't have thought you are already 8 months. We will see little Evie really soon, I'm so excited

I think you can go shopping and use that as exercise. I went to Legoland when I was 8 months with Natalie...just walked my butt off. I was just sad that I couldn't go on a lot of the rides :cry: :cry: :cry:

good for you, my daugher's ezcema still on and off, it boths us alot. it has something to do w/ the immune system. and supposely elidel is working good on her, but then FDA issue the warming to stop use, coz it may develop skin cancer .. and i finally find out there's a pedatric dermatalogist, and i schedule to bring her in to see the dermatologist on the 22nd, hopefully she can help a little.

Nillie and all the moms who's interested in applying HKID for their kids here:

actually my 99 has checked w/ the HK immigration for us before. she said he'll need to stay in HK (as a foreign student or whatever) for 7 yrs in order to get the HKID. but i'm not sure how reliable it is (coz different immigration officers might said different things), so i asked u to check out their web site yourselves.

since i've applied for the portuguese citizenship for him (so that he can study/work in europe), i don't care too much for the HKID for now. however, i know it's gonna take a long time for it to be approved.

thanks for yr info regarding eczema. i've also scheduled sean to see a pediatric allergy doctor next week and pediatric dermatoglist early next month. let's see what they'll say and we can exchange the info later on.

btw, regarding using the chinese herb for bathing, how much "gold-sliver flower" and "mean yan chan" should i use and how do u mix them? do you just boil them together and pour a little bit into the tap water in the bath tub??
my mom has bought us some "gold-silver flower" either serveral months back or from last year, but i never used it. for "mean yan chan", i don't know how it looks like. maybe i'll need to check it out at the chinese herbal store.

believe it or not, yr little girl's picture does a little look like my boy when he's younger. actually a lot of people thought he were a girl although he dressed in blue and didn't have much hair.

btw, my hubby also lived in UK (London and Edinburgh) for at least 7 to 8 years.

just recently, i just joked w/ him that the californian kids got darker skin while the london kids got lighter skin becoz of the foggy/rainny weather there.

Karina is a good name. my friend's whose 7-yr-old girl got the same name and she's kinda smart girl.
my ex-landlord's daughter's name is Katrina (yes, the name of the hurricane), but she's very pretty, good figure, and went to a blue-ribbon high school in S.F.
