my daughter still cann't regonize any english or chinese words even 'a,b,c'. i always teach her but she really cann't regonize any words. her speaking is very good but i don't known why she cann't regonize any words! i am worry about it! can your baby regonize words now? any sharing? can you share how do you teach your baby to read?

我囝囝睇 vcd 時, 學識認字, 不過你刻意問佢, 就未必乖乖咁答你, 但o係平常生活時, 留意到佢係認到字架.

佢未返 n1 時, 都認到 24 個字母, 或者睇每個 bb 既能力, 唔駛擔心咁多, 返學都要再學過.

我乜野 vcd 都比佢睇啵, 不過覺得 disney 美語係有 dd 幫助.

My daughter can read all 26 letters and 1-10. But I don't think she can read real vocab yet.

我覺得囝囝係認到字架, 我燒左 d vcd, 手寫左 d 字, 佢會講得出, d 碟名係 barney / mickey / 砵砵巴士 / dora 架

why such a hurry? they are just 3 years old kids. recalled yourself at age 3, how many letters can u recognise? I don't think I can read A-Z at age 3, but that definately doesn't affect my ability to learn. take it easy!

have u ever heard abt "小時了了, 大未必佳"? that must be a point.

I agreed what you said, but now I started to worry about my daughter's development. She couldn't recognised the colour, even red or yellow.


I'm not sure what happen to her. Everytimes, I taught her, she just couldn't concetrate.

我個女未夠3歲識晒a-z, 1-20....
宜家認到"大,了,國,子,不.....另外,一至六中國數目字.....
我都無刻意教, 只是抓住佢有興趣時(例如睡前故事時間), 指住個字讀出來, 但唔好迫佢讀番俾你聽,佢認到幾多,順其自然!

我女講野唔係好叻, 認到大細楷 a-z 同1-12 以家train佢無圖記下d中文字咁

我諗個個唔同, 唔洗咁擔心

由一歲多開始，每晚都和他看睡前故事，
到佢兩歲返學之後，
我仲會用手指住d字同佢一齊睇和讀。
因為本書每個故事都有個日子，由一月一日到十二月卅一日咁，
佢而家自己指住識讀啦。

另外，一些大、小、上、下……都識，
因為學校又有教。
數字，中國數字，a-z，都識讀啦。

其實，您都唔好太緊張啦，
返左學之後會好好多。
而且，專家話，只要您同佢一齊好輕鬆咁睇同讀多d，
不過就唔好考佢，
無壓力的學習，自自然然佢就會識。

Don't be worry! Every kid is different. For example, when I asked my son to read some English words, he purposely don't answered, but he will speak it out whenever he likes. I think you can try to give your daughter to watch
some dvd or listen to music, this method works on my son. I remebered one time, he suddenly said, "Mammy, lion is the king of all the animals in the zoo", I felt so suprise, later on I found out he learned this from an English song.
