Mini-Z

Hi dom,

"Nice to meet you too" Glad to know that you like Mini-z too!

The 'overland' is quite good... No need to find a "good place" to play... (quite hard to find)... Even the place/land with grass, it also works great!

I have...

Additional Shell...

Controller...(EX-11)

"Nice to meet you!" Cool!

I loved to play Mini-z in the past 2-3 years..

I changed so many shells..

My first one is Altezza, then GT3, Viper, New Beatles, NSX, Lancia, Benz (new and old one), C5R, R34, 206, RX7, old Limbo.. and also Overland with bigfoot.

2 Mini-z (MR1.0 and MR1.5) are in very good condition (before I used them for racing). The other 2 are still runable. The rest were 'retired'..

The overland is for fun only (before I played it at Victory park!)

After having a baby, got less chance to play it lu.

Where you usually play it?

Re: Mini-Z

I usually will re-paint the shell..
Two of my shells

I also use KO, but EX-1 Mars R.

For mini-z, shells does matter! Benz, C5R, R34..etc can run very stable, good for racing.

Other shells are good for fun!

Did you modify your car? such as low-down, stack FET...etc?

Before I converted my Overland (Toyota LC) to big foot (I bought two boxes of TAYIMA Big-foot car and get their wheels ) then the overland can run on the grass like a rabit! funny! (but better to add FET so that it won't burn the PCB).

Before HK got about 10 mini-z tracks, but now left one only.. :-(

Re: Mini-Z

Hi dom,

Quite nice ah! Yes, it's good for fun! Mini-z is for our 'fun'...

Really... You changed your Overland to Big Foot!!! Wah... Do you have a picture to take a look?

I also want to try Big Foot too!

Sure la... If you play Mini-Z... I think you'll buy many spare parts and try to replace almost everything... haha... Benz one is better and it's lower... and stabler...

Re: Mini-Z

I don't have my personal web so can't show my OLBF to you (previous photos are from a Japanese web which I sent my Mini-z photos to them)
Here is the website
Mini-Z bar

But here is a sample of OLBF
OL Big foot

People usually use this method to modify.
Big foots are from Tamiya's bigfoot car
Tamiya Big foot

@$50 a box. And you need two boxes (as only two bigfoot rims from each box can fit into Mini-z's rim.)

And yes, why I like Mini-z just becuase it is small in size, easy to carry, .low running cost (compare to 1:10, 1:12).many option parts...

In the past 1-2 years, HK people was already push Mini-z to it limits, stack FET, custom made motors, high power batteries....etc. (even Kyosho came to Hk to study how we modify it)...
