This is the helper I met in my daughter’s playgroup
35 years' old
Education : College level

2 contracts in HK
(1) 1st in a family with two helpers taking care of 2 children (2 & 4 years’ old).
But one helper is Indonesian.
She cannot communicate with the other helper.
(2) 2nd contract with a family taking care of a girl starting from 1 year old till now.
The existing employer in fact told her in Dec 2007 in advance that they would not renew her contract upon expiry in June 2008 because the employer will manage to take care of her own daughter once she goes to kindergarten.

From what I observed in the playgroup for three months, this maid is self-motivated to teach the kid language and ask the kid “what should you say?” when I once handed the kid a crayon.
The kid would respond by saying “thank you”, “sorry” etc.
I thought this lady loves kids.
She met my daughter twice in the shopping arcade and she came forward to greet my daughter.

Her visa will expire on 11 July.
She is still looking for a new employer.
She needs to take off on Sunday because she has commitments at church.

If you are interested, I will PM her mobile phone number and you arrange for a telephone / face-to-face interview with you direct.

Sorry that I have no idea on the quality of household duties.
You will have to try to find out this by your own.

Say a little bit more why I know this maid’s availability.
Because my helper resigns and every time she meets other fellow countryman in supermarket or kindergarten or on bus, she asks them to help to refer friends/relatives to replace her.
Shortly after she referred a friend to me and just a few days I signed the contract, this helper phoned to my helper saying that she was looking for a job.
