For sharing....I have 2 ovarian cysts too, on left & right ovary. Had an operation on my right ovarian cyst (size 3.5cm), with free fluid associated with it. At first, Dr diagnosed as malignant ovarian cyst due to the free fluid floating around the cyst, but during the operation, the Dr removed my cyst with the free fluid around for cystology analysis. Report came out showing it was a bacteria inflammation only and not cancerous. But the Dr did not operate on my left ovarian cyst, as he advise it's not a milignant one, therefore no need to operate on.
Conclusion: Not all cyst are milignant, n if the cyst behave & well monitor, no need to operate on. No need to worry, n visit your Dr regularly.
Suggestion: Do not eat anything which triggers hormonal reaction such as pills. :-P
The size of my cyst is 4.5cm right now.
Sometime painful too. But my Dr said it may shrink by itself. She tell me go back to check after the next menstruation.
You said, "Suggestion: Do not eat anything which triggers hormonal reaction such as pills."
You mean contraceptive pills?
But from some doctors, they said by taking contraceptive pills, the ovarian cyst will shrink, cause contraceptive pills will inhibit the releasing of LH(hormone) which is responsible for ovulation.
I am wondering whether i can drink "soybean juice" anymore???!!!
