My son had similar problem 支氣管炎 at 6 mths old, I visited the doctor 2 times and fed my son medicine for 8 days, afterwards, he still coughing but not very serious, then I fed him 寶嬰丹 for another 5 days, he finally recovered. I think you better to find a good doctor first and treat with western medicine before trying chinese medicine. In my opinion, the effeciency of chinese medicine is slow.
