See the blacksmith and tinsmiths at work, meet the chair-caner, “colonial” cooks making bread and soup, expert quilters, beekeepers, spinners and more. Visit the chair caning demonstration to see a special display of children’s furniture, then tour the exhibit “Bringing Up Baby” in the Historical Museum. Watch charcoal made before your eyes. Sample apple cider pressed before your eyes. Highlights of children’s activities include hay jump and old-time games.
