i'm very concerned over your comment on nursing ur newborn baby in st. paul, as i plan to do so as well. it's really strange 'cos mamay once responded to my query as follows:
"I delivered my baby there on June. Yes, you can breastfeed every 2 hours. I did breastfeed my baby from 08:00am till 10:00pm with every 2 hours on the last 2 days. You can also request them not to feed them bottle after breastfeeding. Instead, you can request them to call you to breastfeed again if your baby cries."
there's a big difference between your experience and hers. i think it depends on whom (the nurse/assistant) u meet in the hospital.....or simply, luck. hope that i can successfully nurse my baby in the hospital.
The nurse will ask if you want to choose any 兒科醫生 or use Dr Fong's partner (last year it was still Dr. Chan). Once got your confirmation, hospital will arrange with Dr. Chan.
As always, you can ask Dr. Fong's suggestion first.
Dr Fong is a very good & professional doctor. Actually I will ask him question in each 產檢 and he will sincerely answer all my questions. But you know, time is limit, you cannot ask so many questions since there are so many patient waiting outside.
I have my delivery last month by Dr Fong, he is good. No need to worry.
