成功轉番全人奶1星期, 多謝 bk moms!

我終於同阿b轉番全人奶足一星期啦 (之前每日補3-4餐奶粉), 在此多謝晒譚媽媽, pc9, nn, mcdullyiu, Glad, Gigi and all bk bf moms 嘅鼓勵同寶貴意見, 雖然而家仍然唔係太多奶, 因為阿b一日間中都有幾次食得好"猛", 要同佢角力一番至攪掂, 但係我會繼續盡力比最好嘅比阿b嫁啦!!
順道想請教各bf媽:
1) 阿bD尿尿少過之前好多下, 較輕手, 但都有6-8條, 係唔係因為食少左呢?
2) 阿b已經8日無ng ng, 而且成日放臭屁, check 過資料庫話個零兩個禮拜無都係正常, 不過始終有d擔心! 你地有無試過呢? :lol:

我想你可能自己飲唔夠水．．．令奶水不夠．．．可以的話要飲１０－１２杯水�日，以前我都有此經驗．．．至於你ｂｂ無大便，最好去看醫生．．．．．

恭喜晒, 你要繼續加油, 我地一齊加油.
其實我個全人奶BB都試過一個星期無大大, 但睇過醫生都話無野, 醫生話有時BB吸收晒奶奶, 連渣都無剩就會有咁的情況, 但要留意BB有無異樣, 例如狂喊, 表現得好唔舒服, 或者摸下佢肚仔大腸小腸的位置有無硬塊(可能會有大大積埋裡面), 如果有咁的情況最好都係搵醫生.
我個B個時自然自己有番大大, 仲係好流質個隻, 之後D大大就好正常咁一日幾次.
放屁的問題呢, 你可以試下等BB食完奶之後掃下風, 有時佢D風容係肚度, 個口出唔到就要在屁股放出黎, 如果唔係就會頂住個肚, 唔舒服羅. 健康院的姑娘話, 如果掃風掃唔到, 放左屁都當係掃左風啦.
你個BB每日都有6-8條片咪正常羅, 醫生話每日最少有三條己經OK.
其實你都轉人奶都轉得好好呀, 記住最大的原則係多勞多得, 過多一排之後你就會覺得易如反掌.

congratulation! I also want to feed my baby same as you, I still can't feed him with breast milk only, need to add 1-2 meals formula. How can I overcome this? My BB is 10 weeks now and I can only pump 2.5 oz milk of both breasts at 3 hrs interval and he drinks 4-5 oz each meal. Any bk moms can give me any advice?

you DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH CONFIDENT ON YOURSELF AND BREASTFEEDING.

actually, all of you did a great job and a good mum,
like Shuethan- you said you are worry that you do not have enough milk... then what is the fact now ?
how do you know you do not have enough milk?

i also suspected that i didn't have enough milk for my son when he is newborn, because he always cried and needed milk every 1-2 hours, ..and i seldom had the situation- the milk will drop on one side while i am feeding another side, and my milk will not come out even my breast is very full, so does it represent that i do not have enough milk? the answer is no of course.

1st - you must trust yourself, not so worry, otherwise it will affect the milk supply when you pump, release yourself.

i will suggest you to pump your milk at least 2 times at your office, for me , i will do 3 times so that it can stimulate your milk duct.
remember my crazy period to pump my milk to save my milk stock,

11:00 - express my milk by hand- 3-4 ozs.
lunch time- 3 ozs by pump.
6:00 after work - 6 ozs by pump.
n/.i410:00 at home- feed on side, and pump another side-- 5 ozs.
midnight 3:00 -- same as abv - around 4 ozs
morning 6:00 - same as abov- around 4-5 ozs.

so total output will be 26 ozs if you do this, so do you think it is enough ?? }}

my problems are that even I feed my baby both sides of breast each meal, he still seems not enough, except at the midnight meal (about 4-5am) as time interval about 4-5 hours, saving enough milk. Another problem is my breasts feel pain if I let him sucking each meal, feel no pain if sucking 1 or 2 times one day.

Lingna: 我阿b同你個b差唔多大喎, 仲有3日就兩個月大。其實我本來喺阿b第3個星期同佢轉晒媽媽奶, 點知佢連續兩個禮拜都無重, 仲輕左, 健康院醫生叫我要補奶粉,1日3餐4安, 當時其實都好唔願意, 但屋企人 (包括老公) 都比自己好大壓力, 叫我唔好勉強!! 終於屈服開始補奶粉, 點知愈補愈發覺阿b對奶粉需求愈來愈狂, 好多時啜幾下媽媽奶就要扭奶粉, 有時仲要補多1餐, 有時要食到5安至擺休, 自己覺得開始"惡性循環", 變左補人奶。
跟住好彩求助 bk 嘅媽媽, 仲參與左佢地上星期六嘅gathering, 得到好多 bf 熱心媽媽嘅意見, 終於即日決心戒甩晒奶粉, 阿b扭計時, 都要好忍心同有耐性咁氹佢, 自己就飲好多湯水同豆漿等, 希望多d奶, 仍然要繼續努力!
總之, 要有決心, 有信心一定得, 一定會成功嘅! 大家一切努力, 加油啦!

My story is same as you, my baby birth weight is 2.78kg only and the weight continued to drop when I feed him mama milk only. Dr also suggested me to give him formula. After that, can't pick away formula until now. I really want to feed him with mama milk only..............

同你一樣, 我阿b嘅體重增長都唔係太理想咋:
1/10 3kg
13/10 3.15kg (出世頭6日喺醫院, 餐餐都補 2-4安奶, 跟住番屋企每日補2餐)
20/10 3.11kg (由13/10起, 開始全人奶)
29/10 3.13kg (全人奶兩個禮拜, 都無重過, 醫生叫我每日起碼要補3餐奶粉)
1/11 3.4 kg (啱啱補左3日奶粉就重番d)
8/11 3.65 kg
15/11 4.05 kg
... 跟住阿B就愈食愈要扭多D奶粉, 自己亦愈來愈唔開心, 求助BK媽媽, 在20/11戒晒奶粉, 要到3/12至知佢重得好唔好, 而家都有少少擔心嫁, 但知道好多全BF BB都會有咁嘅經歷, 呢個只係過程, 要相信捱過左就好ok嫁啦! 努力呀!!

我已經無泵奶lu, 因我是全職媽咪, 之前用pigeon泵泵到隻手腕好痛, 而且阿b食得好密, 根本就唔夠時間同精神泵, 所以索性唔泵, 多d埋身餵同爭取多d時間休息, 雖然我而家都未係餵得好好, 仍需努力, 我信我得嘅! 希望你都一樣啦! :lol:
ps 阿b啜得你痛, 會唔會姿勢唔啱呀, 要多奶最好就係比阿b嘅天然奶泵泵多d嫁!!

I am also afraid that my bb weight will drop or not increase if I feed him mama milk only (my bb weight is still on 10% range now, means light BB). Another question is how can store milk for me when I go back to work, as each meal he needs to suck both sides of breast to get full. If sucking one side only and pump another side, he will be not enough........

我都好明白你嘅心情, 但係咁會好影響奶量嫁! 試下放鬆d, 盡量埋身餵多d, 我泵奶都係麻麻地, 得安零2安, 隻手又痛, 所以已經放棄泵, 你已經好叻嫁啦!
有無試過bk moms介紹嘅增加奶量方法呀:
1. 青木瓜魚尾湯
2. 椰子煲雞
3. 黃豆花生豬腳湯
4. 豆漿
5. 鮮奶
6. 美德牌多奶茶
7. 大量清水
8. Glad 個中醫介紹嘅多奶茶: 王不留行, 通草, 黃豆, 花生, 墨魚乾煲豬腳
9. 邊餵邊泵
10. 乳房按摩
11. 多d休息
我都成日樣樣都試下飲嫁, 都覺得呢排多左d奶啦, 阿b都無咁扭計lu, 大家一切努力啦!

All methods you suggested I have already been tried, but still not increased my milk production. I fed my BB with mama milk only yesterday and each meal both sides of breast and fed for about 30 mins to 45 mins. Somtimes he can stand for 3 hours to ask for next meal, but sometimes only 2 hours.

i understand your concern, same as me as previously. but no need to care if you are baby is in 10% range.
you actually gave the best to him!
in average , the breastfeeding babies' weight is not so heavier as formular baby, but they are more healthy, active and in good development overall. my baby was in 10%, or sometimes 25% when he was 5 months, but now he goes up to 50%, sometimes baby will grow slowly and sometimes faster.

also, if you pump one side and feed another side, he still can get enough milk, you can offer the side to him after you pump it out; eventhough you feel the breast is empty, it has milk actually, when baby sucks, it will tell your brain that your baby needs more, then your milk ducts will supply more milk, then wait for a while, your breast will full again.
so under this practise, your milk supply will increase accordingly.

trust yourself and trust your baby is clever baby, he should get enough from you which he wants.

Hi all moms,

My baby boy is 7 mths old and I've been breastfeeding him. Recently, I got cold and had to take medicine. Although the doctor had given me some medicine which has no harm to baby, she warned me that my milk volume would drop. But after medication, my milk volume did not bounce back and I have only about 1/3 of my previous milk.

Worse still, my baby is also sick these two days and he did not have much apetite to suck milk. Today, I found the milk ducts at my left breast blocked, quite hard and a bit painful. Even if my baby sucked it tonight, the ducts are still blocked.

So, any recommendation to get the milk through? Thanks.
