Is Kiang Wu Hospital Good?

Dear all MaMa,

( Since I don't know how to install Chinese Input method, I can only type in English sin)

I come from HK, now living in Macau and I'm going to give birth to my BB here, my parents-in-law told me Kiang Wu hospital (K.W.)is better than the public one because at Kiang Wu, I can choose a designated Dr for my whole process check-up, this is not the case for the government hospital. Are they telling me the truth? At first they told me they prefer K.W. because it's a privatised hospital and they soothe me that $$ is not a matter.....however from this "Macau Mother Club" I found the truth that the fee charged by K.W. is actually much lower....

All I concern is the professionalism of the Drs. in K.W......

如果你無澳門居民身份證的,應該在鏡湖生會平d.
如果係澳門居民,則兩間醫院都唔使$$.
我剛於五月生bb,分享一下自己的經驗:
我自從有bb後,一直在衛生中心(屬政府衛生局)檢查,包括定期保健,照三次b超,三次驗血等 ,而在山頂醫院每個月都有免費的孕婦健康講座,你可到山頂或衛生中心查詢.在山頂醫院生,可以選擇無痛分勉,及丈夫陪產等.所以,我初時想選擇在山頂生bb,但是,因我想保存bb臍帶血,而山頂沒有此服務,故只有在鏡湖生.
而鏡湖醫院可以在第一門診看醫生,每次你可以掛號選擇醫生檢查,若澳門居民則滿廿四週後,可到第二門診睇保健,唔使$,當你入院生bb時,則由當值的駐院醫生負責接生.
若你再有疑問,可再分享.

質素方面,我想二間醫院都係唔及香港咁好架啦~~
不過若再二間比較,我想鏡湖好比較好點既~~~~~

Thank you so much for your detailed information, actually I've been arguing with my husband for choosing the hospital for delivery. 無痛分勉,及丈夫陪產, esp the latter one are what I always concern!!! However, I found that at Kiang Wu, 無痛分勉,及丈夫陪產 and now K.W. told me bb臍帶血 all can not be provided/ allowed at K.W....I attended their 講座 on 25th Aug., and I asked about bb臍帶血, they told me they do not provide this service anymore...

Oh...only that my parents-in-law insisted me to deliver at K.W. and I really don't want to fight day by day, ( and because my father-in-law is a cancer patient) I think most probably I'll take K.W. service....My father-in-law blamed me why I insisted 丈夫陪產??? He would never know how supportive if my husband can be with me and share the most precious moment, I'm sure it'll definitely enhance the relationship between father and son/daughter. ( I've discussed with my husband, he said if K.W. allow him to do so, he would be glad to share the moment with me..)

Oh...I feel down and really don't want to fight until everybody hate me!!!!! I have to be more optimistic and keep repeating to tell myself, this is not the most important concern. Only if BB is healthy, that is more than enough.

我五月份生bb時,鏡湖係無丈夫陪產,而bb臍帶血係需要自己聯絡香港的公司做保存,鏡湖只係提供抽臍帶血的技術啫,抽取後,需要自己盡快帶到香港保存.

樂樂3歲半啦,就快又有多一個弟弟同佢玩啦! 我預產期係12月5號而家會係澳門出世! :-D

山頂有無痛分勉,即係係尾龍骨附近打入麻醉葯.
而鏡湖係會用一種叫安桃樂的"笑氣",黎止痛.
很難講佢地D醫生係咪好有經驗,因為我係兩邊都睇過,但我覺得一般咁啦,一定唔夠香港咁PRO架.
你可以親自去門診睇下lo

你有兩個仔仔,真係高興！預祝你一切順順利利。
我初時都在香港檢查，但因為兩邊走來走去，工作上又不太容許，所以依家在鏡湖檢查。上次在鏡湖做ultrasound時，問醫生,'請問我老公可否進來一齊看?' 負責照ultrasound的醫生很兇地說：「你叫佢入黎，不過唔好同我講野！」我心諗我老公係想入黎睇下BB，而唔係想同你講野bo...傻瓜！

佢門診D醫生真係幾....
我最後一次做B照,我媽媽陪我去,咁佢未見過,未問醫生可唔可以叫我媽陪我睇,個醫生好唔願意地比,但都醒一句:你媽咪識得睇咩??我心念,如果佢識,就唔使搵你啦!

Tofu :你好呀我本身都係係HK做檢查架同埋本來都係諗住返HK生但你而家個大仔係澳門讀書我先生佢又係澳門做野..我成日返HK都幾麻煩所以而家都考慮緊會架澳門生呀!咁你知唔知鏡湖有冇無痛針打架?同埋有冇好架醫生介紹呀?
