dell's computer price changes every saturaday. Price for dell computers are fluctuate between every week. It is Dell's marketing polices. Let customers to have impulse shopping on their products. So people always said dell's price is 海鮮價
There should be some changes in hardware configuration, you also need to pay attention to the product code.
I found that the price for same model in the advertisment of different newspapers are different on the same day, the reason is the model is the same but the configuration is different. What my suggestion is you need to remember the promotion code and also the configuration.
This is the most confluse for general customer. If you read the advertisment in Metro HK and AM730 (two of the free newspaper), you will find the price of Dell's computer have different price, the model is the same but the e-value code is different. You need to pay attention.
The interesting thing is their sales hotline are also different.
Let me call an example, for dimension 3000, Metro HK is selling that computer at 4,999 but AM730 is selling that computer at 3,900.
The E-Value code in Metro HK is M241002, the E-Value in AM730 is M241001.
Try to contact Dell at 29693113 before you make an order.
Dell Sales will ask you somethings about your Laptop/Desktop's configuration. Then, he/she will send you a quotation. If you like the configuration, you can sign the quotation and send back to Dell.
I bought a laptop from Dell a few weeks ago. I think Dell is OK.

I really think you need to know what configuration of computer do you really need, call their hot line and get the appropriate computer, don't only trust the ad.
