disneyland hotel is more expensive than hollywood hotel, disneyland - victorian style, very beautiful, buffet in the restaurant, you can meet the cartoon characters
in hollywood - its quite modern but you dont get to see the cartoon characters very often
we went to disneyland hotel and we want to try hollywood next time
disneyland hotel's dinner buffet is very good, a lot of food, many choices, in fact i think more choices than some of the 5 stars hotel, we saw 4 cartoon characters, mickey, daisy, goofy and pluto. the people work there said you wont see all of them, if you want to see all of them you need to go to the park, but there 4 cartoon stayed all night, playing with us, taking photos with us, my girl was very happy, but its close to 400 dollars per person
i also asked who i would see in hollywood hotel, they said its by chance as sometimes they walk around in the hotel, but the staff mentioned goofy will swim in the hollywood hotel pool, dont know if its true
